    Firefox v4 And Resolution Issues

Ever since I installed Firefox v4 the text has become blurryish to some degree which makes me think it is recognizing my screen as the wrong resolution. Or at least a different resolution than what I had prior to this update.

I don't know what resolution I had prior to the update but I would like to know if theres a way to change this resolution and manually input the number or change it to some degree? Or maybe someone has had experienced with a similar case and knows this isn't the issue at all.

    I appreciate any input given,
    Thanks!

I've been hearing about this a lot and I guess the usual fix is either disabling a particular about:config entry or using this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...tuner/?src=api

If that doesn't work you can try going into about:config (type exactly that into the address bar) and setting the entry "gfx.direct2d.disabled" to "true"

I've downloaded the add on yet there is no change I'm unsure about what to change?

Also if I was going into the about:config I am unsure of what you mean exactly? I don't know how to get here what is the directory? Is it in Mozilla's folder in Program Files?

While you have firefox open deme just type about:config in the address bar and hit enter. You'll get a list of preferences in alphabetical order. In the filter bar you'll put in "gfx.direct2d.disabled" which will find the entry for you. Double click the entry to turn the value to true (false is default).

Ty so much everyone I believe the issue has been resolved. Although it is possible that my eyes just got used to this bad resolution <_<
