It was picked up for a second season already if I remember correctly, but it's suppose to be an all new cast/setting.

Everything I see from AMC still says undecided for 2nd season. Do you happen to have a link to your source?

If this season is any indication, I kind of hope there is not a 2nd season. The show started so good, and has just went to crap, and I really only think the reason is because they are doing 12 full episodes for one murder and trying to tie other stories into it.

Oh the next episode is going to be every worse. They are just now going to see her using that debit card at the casino, but yet the card was the first thing found in the field, you would think credit card charges would of been the first thing they checked.

I thought they did check that in the first episode, but found nothing? I could be wrong, but if not, that implies she's using someone else's card.

And you people are crazy, i've been on the edge of my seat every episode. Sure there's been less tension since Linden and Holder started getting along, but it's still been solid.

Do we know specifically how Richmond's wife died? Yes, we know she was killed by a drunk driver, but is it possible she was knocked off a bridge into water, and she drowned? That would explain Orpheus' fascination with wanting to know what it was like when you drowned. I think it's someone working for him who had access to a campaign car, either Jamie or Drexler (maybe both?). Drexler makes sense because he's beaten hookers in the past, and the whole "apartment" scene with the girls swimming through the overhead pool was necessary for something. Jamie could easily have been involved in the cover up, to protect Richmond's campaign. Whether that was Drexler killing hookers or Richmond soliciting hookers, I don't know. My guess is that Richmond doesn't know about the murder but was, in fact, Orpheus.

The Killing renewed for a second season.

No word on which cast members are returning. That's probably at least in part to allow for anyone to still be the killer.

I'm assuming it's still going to keep the "one day per episode" status, so I have to wonder if, in the last episode, they'll solve the murder, and then have an "epilogue," where it's revealed who won the election.

Just finished watching EP 12 after a marathon the last 2 days. God this show is amazing. I hope they cut the storyline between the future husband/deadbeat dad. Too many possibilities for wasted EP's. Glad they renewed they for another season as I'm hooked. Introduced this show to a few friends and they love it. Show is based in Seattle, but filmed in Vancouver. I had no idea until i saw this place by my work. Lol. This show really feels like Da Vinci's Inquest.

I liked this show at first, but damn, it has gone downhill since about episode 4. I really liked the last episode though, and I hope he is actually the killer just to get it over with.

The girl cop has to be one of the worst actresses, ever to be cast.

No the worst would have to be "Deb" from Dexter... CANNOT STAND HER. At first I wasn't sure about this one, but she has grown on me. Much like Anna Torv/Olivia Dunham on Fringe. I thought she absolutely sucked at first, but she figured out how to read her character eventually.

Anna Torv went from horrible to brilliant in 2 seasons. Honestly, I thought Deb had gotten better as well. Or maybe I've just grown accustomed to her.

You may be right about Deb Tyche, I just can't let go of the hate. I still have a little hope in my heart that now that she is no longer married to Michael C Hall her character gets killed off. PLEASE!

I really am not sure what I will watch after this week when The Killing and GoT end their seasons.
