Oooooooooook so here goes, my living room is pretty much setup for gaming for everyone, I have a ps2 setup with a CRT TV that I use to play DDR, beatmania, pop'n music, and fighting games like guilty gear etc.

Thing is for beatmania and other music games, the TV speakers are pretty terrible since it's only a little 20" CRT w/ component inputs. I was looking into getting some standalone speakers like computer speakers that support an optical input to work with the PS2. I'm looking for a decent price, and 2.1 would be preferred. That or any kind of adapter that would work w/ a set of 2.1 speakers.

An example for me would be the logitech Z5500s, problem is they're 5.1 and extremely expensive. Any help would be appreciated because I want to get back into playing some games but I'm just in need of better sounding audio than TV speakers. Thanks!
