I would love to see a remake of Ice Cap Zone.
I would love to see a remake of Ice Cap Zone.
Both versions of Metal Sonic would be pretty cool too. Metal Sonic doesn't count as a friend, since well, he isn't a friend lol. For me, Sonic's friend list ends with Knuckles (kinda) and Tails.
Seeing video of classic remade levels, touched up and looking fairly good kinda makes me want it but, that Sonic Circle, I know somethings gonna come along to just totally fuck it up, also wtf @ that truck <_> what the hell was going on
Yeah.. I never got to play Adventure 2, my Dreamcast took a shit on me![]()
That looks amazing on the 3DS. I was thinking of getting it for PS3 since I'm not too impressed with Colors on the DS (just started it), but that might be nice to have to take aroudn.
omg mushroom hill! I didnt even watch the 3DS video LOL
Wow Mushroom Hill is like almost an exact replica of that stage.
Also didn't they say something a while back about 3DS have different stages? :/

Sonic the Hedgehog is now 20-years-old. To celebrate, Sega is bringing two Sonics together in Sonic Generations for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. To sweeten the deal, Sonic gets a rare "collector's edition" bundle, full of collectible tchotchkes.
Sadly for North American and Japanese Sonic enthusiasts, this special edition version of the November-due game is for Europe and Australia only. Our PAL pals will get one collectible figurine immortalizing classic and modern variations on Sonic; a commemorative gold ring; the "20 Years of Sonic Art" booklet; and a 20th anniversary soundtrack collection. See visual details in the gallery above.
The CE also includes the "History of Sonic: Birth of an Icon" documentary, an "exclusive collection of interviews and footage charting Sonic's life from inception through to becoming one of the most iconic characters in videogame history" according to Sega.
Add to that some fancy packaging, some downloadable content and you've got The Works. Sonic Generations goes to Europe and Australia on November 30, but at least those of us in America get it earlier (November 1).
I wonder who I can import that from.... Why in the fuck would they not offer that over here.
It begins...
Spoiler: show
....god damnit Sega. Shadow is fine (hes sorta like Metal Sonic) but that better be the last "friend". -_-;;
I hate Kotaku, everything they post is garbage.
I don't think we know for sure, but it seems all of these rival moments are like boss battles. I don't know if everyone remembers the Shadow vs Sonic boss battle(s) in Sonic Adventure 2, but we obviously won't have those special moves available to the player. Would be interesting to see if they allow Shadow to use them against you in his boss battle.
I wonder what other kind of rival moments and boss battles we can expect.
I have no problem with Shadow, as long as they stop there.
recall somewhere the demo files got mined and it listed off some stages and boss fights. Obviously in development and open to change but the rival were listed as bosses for each era of the series with metal sonic - genesis era, shadow - dreamcast era and Silver - modern era.

Sonic Generations hitting PS3 and 360 on Nov. 1
While every game ever battles it out for a lucrative spot in yet another financially ruinous November, Sonic Generations grabs the first available date for its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Sega's brisk, blast-processed stroll down memory lane will launch on November 1 in North America, and November 4 in Europe (where you can also obtain an elaborate special edition).
Sega has only confirmed the launch dates for Sonic's console outings at this time. The 3DS version, which features platform-exclusive levels and a two-player versus mode, is scheduled for "late 2011."
