its odd how that zone doesnt look very distinguishable..
but with the brick thing and the high walls, its most likely horutoto as many are suggesting.. which probably means we might be seeing stuff in dangruf wadi and king ranperres tomb, i suppose.

from an FF fan viewpoint, that definitely looks to be the classic boss Gilgamesh. Its true we have an NPC by that name already, but then again they've proven with Argus that NPC and NM names are not mutually exclusive and don't even have to be related.

It kinda makes sense too.. Gilgamesh is an interdimensional traveler and fits right into the Voidwalker thing. With hope we'll get to see other past FF bosses joining the fray as NMs. would be an awesome touch of nostalgia.

Plus the fact that shinryu is promathia and seth merged into one so gilgamesh ould have been merged with a mob for storyline purposes in this other dimension. It looks like the cutscenes continue after abyssea with prishe anyway.

They hint to a very nasty mob as the final boss too.... We thought shin was hard without a brew.... I have a feeling we gonna get a very hard monster and won't have atma to save us now. Start getting your merits in and empyreans done.

Thought the Prishe cutscenes implied we "died" vs Promathia and that everything after is a result of our failure to clear CoP, the expansion everyone loves to hate.

Yeah, I just re-read the plot detail thing...I guess I dont want to meet that shell of an awesome man (being me) if he couldnt even beat Promathia. But, Prishe didnt seem TOO surprised to see us, considering were supposed to be..you know...dead?
