I run with the bg resolution at twice the screen resolution, and with mip mapping at 3. Those two alone will provide a pretty substantial improvement to the look of the UI.

Bit of a late reply to this, but earlier today a friend of mine was working through this problem and we noticed that it only happened when windower was loaded. Full screen normal pol worked fine without error.

Through trial and error we found out that the problem went away when windower was loaded with 'run as administrator'... something that I thought was already required, but apparently for him, it wasn't turned on prior to today. Once he set it up so that it ran with admin privs, the problem ceased happening and login to port jeuno worked just fine.

I don't know how, I don't know why, I just know what we stumbled on.

If he was having trouble in PJ, it might've just been crowded. He mentioned Port Bastok and I've also been having problems all night with it, initially getting stuck around 9pm. I tried waiting it out in case it was an ISP thing, but after an hour or so I started running file checks. POL said I had 279 bad files, mostly in ROM folder 17 and 18, but checking those folders I only saw 128 files in each. I wound up moving every file out of those temporarily and did another check, which wound up downloading a few files to each. I then ported back in the files that wouldn't overwrite and managed to get back like 5 checks later, so I dunno if it was a result of that or ISP issues fixing themselves.

Of course, 5 minutes ago I'm running back to Bastok to turn in my gun of trials, have a friend's brd on loan, I zone us both in at the same time, his char gets through, mine dead screens again. I'm beginning to wonder if there's actually something wrong with my character data. Trying to log on normally did fuck all.

Any recommended XP spots for Fellow NPC? It's at 66, figured I may as well give it the most XP I can from each kill to boost it to the new cap.

Mount Zhayolm Wootzshell are a good 6 levels above where your NPC is atm.

Is there a working expwatch plugin for windower? If not how do I get KParser to work (with Steam FFXI) to watch my exp/hr? Every time I try to use KParser it never shows any info when parsing.

about cirein-croin. Mostly i'm worried about the charm. Sure I can solo him on rdm easily, but I want to use my thf + whm mule if I can to maximize lantern drops. How often does he use his charm, how fast is it (thinking about using on-event with whm/blm mule to stun it if its possible). Thanks.

I'm trying to pop the goblins for the WAR AF3 (Shut up, i'm a completionist) and the goblins at the ??? wont pop. Last thing I did was trade the cookie to the galka in the Mines. I've tried waiting a day, and coming out on WAR and it still wont pop, i just keep getting "The writing is too blurry to read". Quest is in my log, and NPC doesn't say anything besides his standard text now.

You need 60k Clothcraft GP for Magnifying Spectacles. Harharhar jk. They probably messed it up when they added a ??? for Behemoth/KB. Try clicking on those and see if Goblins spawn.
