which off hand trial dagger is better for dnc solo/duo DA+10 or oat2-4? I know that the DA+10 would be better for dmg but i think the oat2-4 helps for faster tp to cure etc?

Go with the DA. OA4 is 1. really horrible to make 2. horrible damage and 3. horrible tp feed which gets horribly annoying.

I did mean with Striking Flourish, which lets the first swing and Striking Flourish-related Double Attack crit. ~50% rate. I'm not sure I wrote it there, but I got some 1TP return crit hits, so the DA can definitely crit too.

DA+10 would be better for lowman in pretty much every situation, I'd think. The OA2-4 gives more TP, but you feed more TP as well. TP gain for healing isn't going to be a problem against anything that you should be fighting on Dancer. If you're using the DA+10 dagger (unless you have Twashtar or Daka+2), it should probably be in the main hand.

It affects both hands (and ranged attacks). A perfect Yataghan is competitive with a completed Magian in Abyssea.

Abyssea warp to Attowha maw in Buburimu > Walk three feet to outpost. Fastest way TO jeuno would have to be an earring, or Warp to WG > Warp Taru.

Old-ass XP PC died for good yesterday, so I went out and bough a cheap-ass laptop. Came with Win7 home premium, been trying to get Windower to work with it but it's been a no-go so far.

-I installed the x64 POL from playonline
-FFXI and all expansions installed from the TPB torrent posted in the ongoing 'all FFXI updates' thread
-No third party antivirus/etc. software running, and I've approved POL/FFXI in the built-in firewall
-Able to log in from barebones fullscreen FFXI no problem

Windower, on the other hand, does not seem to be functioning. I run the Windower GUI as adminstrator, and it immediately comes up with an unhandled exception error. Can't change or save any settings, can't import the existing settings, and it won't launch POL. I assume I'm doing something wrong here, as this is my first foray into Win7. Any advice?

For whatever reason the only Windower that works for me is if I click the GUI directly from the Windower folder. The start menu link doesn't work. Maybe try that?

Anyone else have connection issues with POL and FF11 today? Was perfectly fine yesterday for me, and today have had issue logging in + staying online. Everything else loads fine on my internet.
