You'd be able to do behemoth if you've got 12% movement speed, but the turns are really rough. You'd have to be very lucky to not get thunderbolted when changing directions. No way to solo wyrm (not enough defense) or aspi (not enough offense) solo. Maybe at 99.

I understand that Odin/Alexander can only be used during Astral Flow at 75+ SMN, but does one actually need to be 75 SMN in order to choose the avatars as a reward? Could I, for example, be 74 and still have them as a reward option? Thanks.

Don't need to be 75 smn. I don't even think you need smn unlocked.

For the areas that have new GoV monsters, what did they do with the weaker NMs that were already there? For specifics, I'm looking at Slendlix Spindlethumb which was a lotto spawn in Inner Horutoto Ruins.

To answer myself, just tried it on blm. Was a fairly easy fight, but i went too slow, and ended up timing out right next to the chest, while waiting for reraise to come up after dying to the final meteor <.<

Could have finished it np if i went faster. Definitely glad i went blm instead of rdm though.

Meteor only hit for around 900 with -35% mdt, 101+36 int, and +7 mdb, so thunderspark->meteor was not a problem.

Did you consider evasion tanking wyrm?

2x evasion magian swords, boxer, empress, SH+1, Calmecac feet, Torero, Scouter, Novia and +5 ears together are +110 evasion and +33AGI. I might be wrong but this + blind II could easily be enough to evasion tank it like a pro.
