If for some reason you want to cancel with the option to re-enable it, you can call SE and tell them you lost it. I lost mine a while back and they said they would disable it, and would re-enable it when I contacted them again to tell them I found it.
If you want to permanently cancel it, I think you go to the square enix account website?
Yes, the exact manner of it's function isn't known tho. It was only introduced as a status effect with Feather step and I don't think there's been any significant testing on the specifics for either.
It's most likely just a straight +crit rate to attackers similar to merits.
I fought Glavoid again the other day. 4 people, he was doing 9k Disgorges (spread among the targets). 3 people at most were getting hit by Gorge, most of the time I'd say 2. What the heck is with that?
Disgorge damage seems to be somewhat random if he hasn't done a gorge yet, saw 9k+ that way. Not sure if there is any other reason for it to be doing that much.
For Hadhayosh, yeah dd+whm is fine. Can pop fools at 30% if you want so you don't have to worry about meteor, but its not that bad anyhow.
Good tenemos for clear as nin/dnc? I have no dagger skill--yet, so for the moment weapons is not an option.

What's the best buyable and easiest r/e gear to gather for THF, WAR and RNG 75+?
Orison Pantaloons +2, Cure Clogs, Aceso's Choker and Light Arts will give you -47% cure casting time, leaving you needing 1 merit to cap. You'd need maybe Loq earring and the fast cast ammo piece to cap it without resorting to merits so it's more than a couple of pieces. Or if you're always WHM/RDM you can just use the 3 pieces of gear I first mentioned and ignore merits altogether.
But tbh I'm sometimes /BLM for stun or meleeing on /NIN so I've kept mine at 4/5. Personally I'd get more use out of Banish merits than Divine Seal recast.
Soo, bit of a story here: I was playing around on my second character, she was out in Sauromugue Champaign and got disconnected (so did my main char, I logged them both back in promptly). I then tried to move her into Port Jeuno and she disconnected again, mid-zone. Now I can't get her to log back in at all. First I get hit with those stupid "character already logged in" messages, but once that goes away and I try to log in, it gets to the "downloading data" screen where it stays there for a minute and then disconnects again... Anyone else ever encountered this problem? I literally just had her in Port Jeuno not even 10 minutes before without error.
I had this a while back exactly as you described and it pissed me off. Other people could even log me on and moved me to different zones but I couldn't log in myself.
Was told by the GM I called to do a file check and sure enough it corrected a load of corrupt files. But it made no difference and when I tried file check again it was corrupted once again.
Did a complete re-install, but it made no difference. In the end I just said fuck it and restored my PC to factory settings. That fixed it. No idea what the problem was and a bit of a horror story I know, but I hope it's not the case with yours.
File check came up clean and I even tried logging in without windower active and it produced the same result. Any other suggestions?
how do i go about song spellcasting- gear in spellcast? swap in the magic acc, and skill stuff midcasts and start off with spellcasting gear before even precast?
Precast - Cast Time, Fastcast gear
Midcast - MAcc, Skill, etc.
Depending on your comp and area, lag may require you add a <action type="castdelay" delay="<delay, in seconds>"/> so that the fc gear equips before the spell starts. Usually 0.3 to 0.5 is enough, but changes from person to person, so give it a shot.
I guess the game has evolved to a point where RDM used to be a 'must' to a 'meh' status....
Anyways, I have rdm, sam, war, drk, blu, thf jobs.
1) Should I prioritize rdm, sam, thf first for lowmanning stuffs with my old group?
2) drk's DDing capabilities and utilities are still 'meh' compared to sam?
Inside Abyssea usefulness:
THF - TH and a decent evasion tank for a lot of NMs
WAR - Over half of the red WS and a good number of blue WS (this and NIN will cover all of red)
BLU - 16 grellow spells, most of which can't be covered as a subjob
SAM - a couple blue WS and a decent tank
DRK - 1 blue WS that can't be covered by any other job, souleater zerging isn't very useful inside Abyssea
RDM - buffing for cleave parties I guess? Chainstunning for a zerg?
I don't know what your old group has access to for jobs. If I was considering you for my group, having THF, WAR, and BLU well geared would be all I'd look for from your list. Having DRK high enough to use the blue WS is a bonus (when we go to do blue stuff, one guy is WAR most of the time and switches to DRK when we need that WS).
It may be worthwhile to keep RDM and DRK geared up if you genuinely care about those jobs in case they become relevant for new content outside of Abyssea, but I wouldn't priority them.
Will fighting Dhorme Khimaira and/or Apademak from behind restrict them to using Plague Swipe in a similar manner that fighting Alfard from behind restricts him to Serpentine Tail?
