No hits on COR XML, so I'll just post up some COR gear and ask for suggestions on it; I'm open for all the help I can get. Couple disclaimers: I'm asking for a friend who's working on Armageddon and regearing entirely who just got back into the swing of things with COR and I threw these sets together so they may be horribly put together. Not sure if Joy is good anymore, if Twilight has trumped it, or if there's even something better than that. Also, I wasn't aware that Oberon's bullets were so expensive/rare, and I wasn't aware magical WS didn't need top of the line bullets and I'm too lazy to go back and change them. I'm not entirely sure if COR even melees anymore, so if it's more of a RATT job now, I'm open for any advice on gear for that. I think most of these are decent enough; however, the Slug set is probably the worst/gimp of them all as I wasn't sure what exactly CORs Slug in these days.

I would use Vulcan's for the weapon instead of Joy to TP in. /ra is the way to go imo. reaver's +1 Sub.

As for rings would MAB rings from Tahroni be better than AGI rings? A friend said to value MAB > AGI > INT on Wildfire. Thanks!

Also, friend said MAB +3 belt over the +7 AGI waist you have. Not sure on that one either.

I tend to use pizza a bit since I full time yonin depending on the NM. Otherwise, I just use meat mithkabobs on trash mobs.

I think the MAB rings may be better, but that would involve cleaving Tahrongi; and after finishing my Ukon, if I tell him we're going to cleave Tahrongi, he may delete my account so I just opted to leave those out.

If you're referring to being able to see VNMs, it looks like everything is stored server-side until you pop it, so radar is probably broke for good.

I didnt think INT had anything to do with wildfire? And I was told its 2 AGI > 1 MAB > 1 AGI for wildfire.

To skill up dagger, would it be fastest to single-wield /war with a haste+1 shield, or off-hand a 150 delay dagger?

Player int has nothing to do with wildfire. Mob int affects the damage, but you can't really do much about that.
7 AGI waist is better than the 3 MAB belt.

MAB rings are good for quickdraw, but stormsoul rings are better than MAB rings for wildfire
An upgrade on your set for wildfire would be Ambusher's Hose. Otherwise it looks fine, except that sword. I'm a big fan of /sam and using a vulcan's staff.

Dual wield 150 delay daggers with as much haste as you can get from their respective sources. From there, add DA/TA. And try not to overhunt too badly (sub-220ish skills for an A rank job in Abyssea is probably a no no).

Just started playing again after a long time and can't find l-gm or equivalent. Is it still possible to get past the collision detection or am I s.o.l. and have to deal with all the body blocking? Any help is appreciated.

Which generally is a good CDC type stat progression? which is better 5-7 dex or 5-7 str? Also, blu, rdm, pld attack wouldn't be capped, how does that factor in?

i seen some sets on this forum that went all out dex but str is figured into the WS formula too.

Hume 90 pld/war 94 STR, 75 Dex
Hume 90 Blu/war 86 STR, 75 Dex
Hume 90 Blu/nin 83 STR, 76 Dex

So, is it really beneficial to go all out dex?

It was confirmed that the way they handle VNMs and other hidden monsters (like Myrm from the patch) was changed. All of the commonly used tools are no longer supported (ApRadar v2, Mappy, ASE), so even if the information was still there somehow in a different format, we'd probably never get an update to see it. ApRadar v3 is potentially still supported, so you could check that out and see if there's any VNM update in the coming weeks.

Any WINE FFXI users here know a fix for POL crashing right when it typically closes to load FFXI?

FFXI used to load fine prior, but it would immediately pop up an error due to missing file, so I did a file repair for 4k files. Have yet to get FFXI to load proper after that due to the POL crash. I'm not sure if I perhaps changed something that pissed it off, clearing registry didn't help. Bit annoying the FFXI config is still blank though, hate adjusting the values manually.

I think I'm doing something wrong. Yesterday I got the Abyssea collection. I talked to dude in Jueno on a 30 job..got CS for abyssea from zoning first..when I talked to him he was like "sup dude have a stone" so I got a stone. I then visited Tahrongi Canyon maw. No CS upon entry, and I'm still on "The Truth Beckons" quest. Do I need to go into the Konschtat and La Theine maws too to get the next quest? I'm confused.
