I think I'm doing something wrong. Yesterday I got the Abyssea collection. I talked to dude in Jueno on a 30 job..got CS for abyssea from zoning first..when I talked to him he was like "sup dude have a stone" so I got a stone. I then visited Tahrongi Canyon maw. No CS upon entry, and I'm still on "The Truth Beckons" quest. Do I need to go into the Konschtat and La Theine maws too to get the next quest? I'm confused.

From what I recall. Get stone, visit a stone, leave (don't get visistant), talk to Joachim for another CS, then you can start.

I think you just have to verify your character on the new server, and get an LS Community profile for the new server.

Hmm. So I need to talk to him again? I'll try that and see what happens. If I understand correctly, my time is already accumulating, but I cannot redeem the new stone until after the quest is done? Or do I not accumulate until the quest is done too?

your stones are being generated now, but you wont get any cutscenes until you talk to him again, and be holding a stone when you try and enter a may you need the scene for. and you have to get the cutscene to be able to port there

Did you try using Guild Work? I think that's needed to show emps, idk about relics.

I may be wrong, but I was always informed that your natural resist numbers were equal to a C weapon skill for each level, so you shouldn't need as much to resist.

Merited barfira + carol I/II was enough to resist the majority of his air attacks. No resist gear was involved. If you go without carol, then resist gear may be necessary.

correct, with a whm casting barfira with capped enhancing, the 114 or so elemental resist should be the equivalent of about 200-215 (at 75). id add another 50 or so, or a brd to add another 100 just to be practically immune

I have looked and searched through this thread and ffxiah, ffxi wiki, ahven't found much in the way of definitive info. Any mega awesome ninjas out there that wouldnt mind posting/pming some gear sets? Just trying to get an idea of what to work towards, and what I might grab on the cheap or quick to get going. Been gone about 2 years and just resubbed.

Any idea for a moderately lowman strat for Turtle KS99? I tried it last night AlmaBLU GandRNG BLM WHM, and the fight basically went 93->100->93->100->93->100 for 30 minutes.

I was thinking of trying a 3 heavy DD + BRD + WHM strat next time, but if someone has any better ideas, I'm all ears.
