At what +Cure Potency % does WHM Body +2 become better than a cure potency body? (Not sure if that is too vague or not)

Also, what is best to merit with the extra magic merits now? I have WHM/BLM/RDM leveled to 90. Enhancing merits?

Taking a 6hit over a 5hit? Unless things have changed post update and I missed it, I've not heard such.

A 5-hit is better than a 6-hit, unless you're sacrificing too many slots/stats for STP in order to obtain your 5-hit. The rise of attractive alternatives (Tactical Mantle vs. Atheling for 35 Attack and 3% DA, etc.) has made the 6-hit better for some weapons/jobs that end up throwing away everything for STP to 5-hit.

Like, Ukon with a 5-hit outside Abyssea is generally using White Tathlum, Carbonara, and Tactical Mantle. That's over 100 attack (and some STR) lost. Is Ukko's outside Abyssea good enough to offset the Massive Attack drain? Maybe not. Could you 6-hit with Sword Strap and pick up 100 Attack? Probably!

Recently burned my blu and dnc to 75+, got a few questions:

What weapons should I be aiming for? I will eventually do an Almace for BLU, but until then, what swords should I be looking at? (Non-magian and magian) And same for DNC, although I don't plan on doing Twashtar, and honestly have no clue at all. (Assuming most choices will be magian only)

Also, since the merit expansion, would blue magic skill be the best option after enfeebling/elemental?

Does Grapevine Cape work with Battery Charge?

I haven't tested it, but it does work with Refresh and Refresh II. It's unclear whether the cape gives Duration +20% or Duration +30 seconds because I tested it with two spells that have the same duration. If it gets sent back to me then I'll see if I can find a BLU to try it.

Isador/Mageblade for BLU, both really easy to get.

Easy stuff for DNC I guess Phurba/Twilight/Angr. Phurba has the added utility of 10% waltz potency.

You only need 4 stp for a 6hit with a Ukon. That begin said you gain a lot of stats in the slots you sacrificed for the 5hit. Grip/ranged/neck/back/ring/food. Which on the tp phase is an extra 3% Crit.Rate, 6% DA, 32 STR, 12 DEX, 203 Attack, if I remember correctly.

Interesting, I never really seen any dissension about 5hits in my researching Ukon since I became serious about building it. Do you think 5hit is still valuable inside Abyssea without SQ, or would you say SQ is required to keep it relevant?

Is there anything I could spend my cruor on for profit? perle/teal/aurore gear seems like it doesn't sell that often. I'm sitting at 2m cruor with nothing really to spend it on.

Selling drops is more profitable, but you can do the Chocobo Blinkers thing for 5mil pretty quickly.

Go to a Scars zone, get the Chocobo Bastion Op, talk to the guy near the chocobo and buy blinkers. Buy for 200 cruor each in stacks, sell for 500 gil each, iirc. Not rare, easy dialogue tree that you aren't kicked all the way out of. Can get 240 stacks at once (~575k cruor) if you can clear your inventory.
