Actual item you use doesn't matter because you want to fail the synth so you always get the ingredients back. "Easiest" items are just using your crafting apron (if you have one) up to the 40-whatever cap, then look at the different alchemy leaf synths to 70. I think 4 platinum leaves + some vitrol will take you to 70, can probably just start with that synth instead of the apron.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but you don't actually need to do the 7~10 spread like other crafts? Just start with something that caps at 70 from 0 and force break up to max?

Exactly. What I did was some juice to get me to around 10, then worked on an apron til around 30 and then switched to platinum nuggets. You're not limited in the same way as when you craft, you don't have to be within x points. The larger the gap though, the more unstable your furnace and the tougher it is to keep things in check. Hence some people recommending spamming fewell feeding with just one fewell type rather than trying to keep the synth stable and operate the furnace etc.

Ensure you have access to lots of fewell. Every 5 levels stop and talk to the NPC to get trained and raise a particular skill.

Essentially its kinda hard to go into everything there is to know about synergy, it's best to jump in. You don't lose materials, the only loss when synergising is measured in terms of the fewell you consume. So you tend to focus on trying to 'make' one item for a lot of levels and fail it over and over.. Ever since the main update I've been crashing at random and it's getting really annoying. Is there anything i can do to try and fix it? I'm going to do a version check later on once I've ensured I remember which of my custom .dats I'll have to restore. Is there any sort of log made on the client side that i can grab and submit?
Is this possibly a windower related problem due to all the stuff that got broken before? It wasnt so bad before but instead of just randomly crashing before i get to the login screen i'm actually dcing while fighting NM's because of it.

What are some common blu spell setups? Here's mine for DD i guess. I keep running into a problem of not maxing points and seeing as how i change from this setup to a charged whisker setup for cleaving it happens a lot >< I'm quite new to blu so that's where my problem comes in. Constantly forgetting what i should actually have in my main spellset and whisker set. My charged whisker spellset probably isn't up to it's full potential either since i mostly just pick random spells after the basic ones. (whikser, occultation, memento, enervation, actnic burst, winds of promyvion, whirl of rage, headbutt, thermal pulse and dream flower) so any help on that set would be great as well.

as blu/rdm so that's why i have the dual wield setup 50/55 with this set. and when i'm /nin even more points left unspent. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a ton of unused cruor and the KI to pop Isgebind. I want to take a random shot at Isgebind during piercing time for the dagger, but I don't know what WS to use for brewing. I did this a few months ago as a spur-of-the-moment thing, and Aeolian Edge was laughably bad. What WS, available to THF, would work well on Isgebind?

If you just want to kill it once, you can just spam evisc. You'll be doing 6-8k+ every 2 tics, there's no way you won't kill it within brew duration.

This is actually what I did when I brewed it last time when Aeolian Edge flopped hard. Unfortunately, Evisceration was the blue!! trigger.

Dancing Edge should still be able to finish him off, I'd imagine, if you get unlucky and Evis is the trigger. It's not nearly as strong as Evis, but 3min of spamming DE every ~6 seconds should still manage to take it down.

THF/RNG (in piercing still) or {THF/MNK or THF/WAR} (in Blunt) both seem attractive, I guess. THF/MNK or THF/WAR probably wouldn't be any worse than THF/NIN, and you're guaranteed to have Evisceration not be the proc. (Heavy Strike {MNK or WAR}, Skull Breaker, True Strike, Spinning Attack, Raging Fists {MNK}, Judgement {WAR}).

You pick up procs and Accuracy isn't an issue thanks to Regain and +999 stats.

99.9% No. Pretty sure the code gets locked into whichever POL account it gets entered to first.

And are there any other unwanted notifications I may wanna disable? Kind of frustrating the plugins page doesn't list any commands and such that might be associated with it.

Also a way to resize or change the font of text from Text? Bit too small/narrow for my liking at default.

Not 100% here, but I'd assume anything under the category of in-game > status > Combat skills. Since the description says specifically Increases combat skill gain rate. So for magic and crafting, i doubt it.

Since my Staff skill is too underleveled to be of any real use, /RNG would be my best best as it adds an additional two triggers (Slug Slot and Sidewinder).

Wasn't talking about the actual text log and such, but the Text plug in. Managed to find a way for that, at least.

Still wondering about chatmon, though. Tells/Examines seem to be the notifications I've bumped into so far.
