I'm using my Aeolian Edge build a lot lately on Dancer, so I figure it wouldn't hurt to ask about it: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/197516

Rings have MAB+3 each, legs have MAB+4. I use are Gales/Ultimate/Baying Moon generally. I'm very very close to three-shotting bats without Ascetic's. How could it be better?

Would the TP bonus from smiting blow beat out baying moon? I know you already have tp bonus from the martial knife, so smiting would make each 100tp ws be a 300tp ws. Does that boost in damage beat out the 30MAB from baying? I don't know the math behind it, though.

Same problem with altepa behind conflux 8 on the detector things(think that's their name).

Would cleave and 4 people DC. Not sure what causes it.

Well getting your jobs to 90 with full merits shouldn't take to horribly wrong, if you have a group of friends still around, your 1st goal should be to get some of the tougher atmas. work towards the atmas that give additional time per stone (not necessarily the "tougher" ones) and work on getting access to shinryu by completing the story line missions. Depending on how your group of friends is, you might be given the opportunity to start collecting some +2 upgrade items for armor. you've got SAM, so something fun for when your friends aren't online or when your just bored would be to start out a magian weapon trial, and work on that when you get some free time.
Again there is surprisingly a shit ton of stuff you could do, but those are just some suggestions

thanks! i did join a linkshell that a few of my friends are in, so i should be ok for doing group stuff. i'm sure i can drag some of my friends out to help me with some little things, too. there really is a shit ton of stuff to do now! i have a feeling i'm going to be putting console games on the backburner again...

Thanks... so lame... I tried turning off effects and it still happened...

First time all characters with me crashed.

Second time my main (the cleaver) did not crash, and one other out of the 8 with me didn't crash.

In Vunkerl Inlet [S], is it possible to get a BST gigas to pop on the side away from the bugards and bombs or will they always pop as the same job after you kill them?

Only 2dex and 1int, but Black Curry might work, and has acc and eva, too

Most effiecnt way to kill tunga with war, whm. Blu, nin? Half time we pull it. We do fine till cs other times we pull and it just goes ape shit entire time. Really only big problem is breakga spam. Also bestt way to kill iitza with same sstrat (no brother wolf atma) fire break almost always one shots

If the the WHM is /BLM, store TP to 100%+ and get Tunga to about 77%. Have the WHM stun Tunga and while it's stunned, WS it so it goes below 75%. Tunga will not chainspell ever, if you do this every 25%. Makes the fight super easy.

Thanks, I'll probably go with the Tav salad. The evasion on the Black Curry is tempting, but the extra 40 defense on Tav Salad probably wins considering my Evasion is already capped outside my AE build.

On WHM keeping barstonra up and using Earth wyrm atma I was pretty much immune to slowga/break. Had 263 earth resist and he landed it on me I think once in 3 fights. Found it a lot more effective than using the resist petrify atma.

Just tested to work on automatons (509 hp on valoredge), so I guess it should work on any pet. Was this a recently added item (since I never knew it existed)?
