It gives 900(rather, sets you to 900 - base is 100, so naked you'd have 100+800 = 900), doesn't cap it, just makes extra mab worth very little - just there isn't anything else to add to the atma set that would increase damage at all.

War gear: stack storetp for a 5 hit with capped haste. So tactical, hoard, goading, etc. You need zelus to wear emp gloves during restraint.

Haven't played since september, what does a semi-ideal WAR look like?
full af3 (Twilight, zelus tiara?), Ukonvasara, and Atheling Mantle seem obvious from what I've seen. What about rings/ear/belt? mix/match haste until 26 then go DA/atk/haste?

I have a bonesplitter, how hard is it going to be to get 50 glavoid wings? would it be better to just do the walk of echoes path?

The only thing that's hard about it is the fucking competition. Everybody and their mother wants a Gaxe or Dagger. To spawn it you need KIs from 2 10-15 min repop nms and it's worse than fafnir was a couple years ago. At least it is on my server.

I've been using plasticsurgeon recently, i thought it only changed the display model, but I just noticed I can't equip Hume RSE anymore. Checked my character profile and it actually lists me as Elvaan, and all of the E RSE pieces on the AH are highlighted as equippable. Is this normal?

MNK or THF. And not really if you have the good Atmas, for mnk you'll at least want VV, RR and GH (assuming you prolly don't have Apoc) for THF w/o apoc you want RR/GH/Dark Depths.

EDIT: BLM is still good too.

Hm, so FFXI isn't working quite yet! POL, etc. works fine, but when I click "Play" for FFXI, I get a white windowed screen and the message "POL has stopped working". I'm trying to open it through windows and I've configured the resolution properly through FFXI config and launcher_GUI, then made sure the FFXI "Windowed Mode" wasn't enabled.

Is this perhaps a graphics driver issue? I'm on Windows 7 btw. GFX card = ATI 5870m

Yes that is normal, you won't be able to equip them though.

Ultimate would do more than smiting blow, its drain varies by tp.

That's darkness resist I believe.

It's resist, if you can get voidstorm on you or go on darksday (and don't already have a dark obi) you can grab the dark obi atma (Which is endless nightmare) for a 10% boost, otherwise mab is your next best bet.

What's the counter rate of Counterstance as /MNK? Is it fixed, or it depends on the base counter rate? and if so, do counter atmas count towards that? How does Counterstance (or counter, in general) interact with Retaliation? And finally, is WAR/MNK good for tanking, or it's always better to go /SAM or /NIN?

If MAcc uses the same numbers as MAB but in reverse, New Moon is 10 and Early Waxing/Waning Crescent is 8. No one has ever tested to confirm these numbers as far as I am aware.

I use Penitent's still due to the -Enmity on it, also Korin Obi (light). The best MND/Enmity combination is Pythia Sash +1 , but one of the ingredients comes from Yilbegan, so good luck on that.
