Ok Draylo, I'm done with ridiculous conversation. Clearly, you've proven that the reason you champion BLU AF helm is to hide the fact that you don't have a brain.

Eh I don't mean to be malicious I'm just opposed to your opinion. I honestly don't feel you will get more out of BA recast than extra macc or acc. I bet if you ask most BLU's that frequent this forum they will not have BA recast merited. The merits are very minimal improvements, situational etc. Extra 10 acc or 10 macc is an item less you need to equip or use or worry about. Let's use a very obscure example as well, needing to proc club red/blue on a specific NM and you need the use of head butt to stun a debuff or bad spell, you aren't going to swap into a sword and lose tp just to stun that. I doubt you will be capped acc in this situation with club. I have also had instances of actinic burst getting resisted on Durinn, Div-e-speid(I think) and few other NM's. I can't honestly compile a list, but I know that overall they will be more beneficial than 20 seconds of a timer that I only spam when AOE farming. Which is normally up when I need it due to checking chests and waiting on repop/repull.
Anyway, to drift away from that discussion. I read few posts discussing loss of lights. What can cause someone to lose their lights? I have heard Nucleic Implosion from Ameobean(sp) mobs does it and certain tp moves from NMs?
how on earth can 10 dex compete with 3% quadruple attack on an emp
Which items have the best NPC vendor gil price to cruor price ratio?
Holy shit guys. Actual answer for blu merits: CA+macc. Just sleep stuff without swapping to a staff and you won't have floored resists on random VT/IT mobs, making macc useful.
True, but that's in the future!
Well, Twilight Knife is D40, 190 delay, 3% Quadruple Attack. Twashtar (85) is D45, 176 delay, 10 DEX. You're basically left trying to compensate for 20% higher offhand DPS using 3% Quadruple Attack (which would be a 9% increase in the number of attacks per round for both hands if you didn't have any DA or TA, which we do). Throw in uncapped dDEX outside Abyssea and you have a pretty compelling argument for Twashtar (85) offhand. Not a super huge difference really, maybe +5% instead of the +10% my first Twashtar gave me.
Not trying to stir up a shitstorm on Treasure Hunter, but I wanted some clarification:
Once you get an initial proc on Treasure Hunter on a mob (currently level 7) for me, does the amount of Treasure Hunter gear you are wearing improve chances of procing again? Has this been tested? In other words, once I land that initial hit, should I keep wearing my TH gear or can I safely switch to full TP gear and get the same chance of getting improved TH results?
Thanks in advance
Trying to work out the best tp atmas inside abyssea based on the atmas/gear currently available to me for monk to hold me over until I get a few things I really should already have.
Right now I have fairly poor atma selection on monk, and I've been using RR/SS/AO for damage until I get around to getting GH and Apoc, but I was wondering if I might actually be better off switching my third atma to Ascending One, which is supposed to be 5% haste and lets me go from 24 haste to 26 while changing my feet from Fuma's to Af3, and I assume capping equipment haste and the extra kick attack damage would probably pull ahead of AO, and get rid of the nasty HP drop from using AO as well.
Any input?
So, im helping my brother re-activate a account. He only had the first abyssea expansion, and that was it for abyssea.
So I decided to purchase Heroes for him, and a hour later decided to purchase scars.
Now when I log in, heroes is light up on the log in screen.... but scars is not. I have a email saying my purchase of scars was successful, i've logged out multiple times as well.
Am I missing something here?
Alrighty, and I thought SCH merits were mostly useless......, wtf do people merit for DRG?
Only thing that stands out is going 5/5 on Angon and Deep Breathing for cat2. No idea for cat1.
