My average Cata's as MNK/WAR with Merc Pole are around 2400. I usually go at 200% (Smiting, Cosmos, Ultimate). I also prefer Merc Pole over Plutos for pure WS frequency.

My 300% tp with smiting blow was after soothing or some really long pull after some mob from previous pull resisted cata and I needed to finish it off with melee (making 100+ tp during that).
I have never crashed when doing monitors and I did all of them but might never with A edge.

I leveled nin to 90 first. didn't get Ni until 66~ for Maat. Brown belt only took a full day max (used to buy Ni). I built up fame and quested ichi. Built up fame quested all teleports/drain/aspir etc and I'm fine.

I didn't think of making a Brown Belt to sell, if you know you don't intend to level MNK this is a pretty good idea. (and if you do ever level MNK you can buy the belt back.)

I just finished Kannagi and I'm about to start Glavoid for my wife's gaxe, farmed 4 pops and went to pop him, first Glavoid was cake only died 1 time to disgorge but the one after that wooped our ass hard, it was spamming disgorge every 2-3 min.

My question is what's the best strat for him, stunning a move that doesn't appear on chatlog or both me and wife take disgorge to the face?
Or dragua Atma + barstona? <------ will that eat disgorge at all?

I have 2 additional whm mules which we each control 1 so I dual box and she dual boxes too

I think if you manage to stun every gorge, it cannot use disgorge, but I always just stunned disgorge so I'm not 100% positive. If that's really not an option for you, try using a ninja tank and don't give it any TP when migawari isn't up. (also full time af3+2 body, full-time, you lose the bonus if you take it off at all, or so I heard~)

Glavoid readies such and such move
Glavoid uses such and such move Dnaval takes such damage.


But on disgorge it only displays the second message.

It can disgorge for random amounts before it has gorged (up to 9k). Either keep migawari up and face away from it until recast is up or have all 4 characters in range at all times. If your wife or mules have brd you can use sherzo with just nin in range.

Af3+2 body is useless for Migawari (assuming it let you mitigate lower then 100% hp damage) You want to mitigate one shot disgorge not highly damaging one. If it decide to use two one by one it's better to have a chance to just left with 10% HP after first one and have miga up for next instead of mitigate 90%HP damage and have no miga for next.

@Kamugi that's a rule for smaller one which can't use Disgorge w/o gorge. Glavoid can do disgorge w/e he want.

I knew it was something like that for the gorge/disgorge thing.

But seriously, if they cant deal with disgorge/stunning/etc, it would be best for them to avoid highly damaging disgorges too, cause that could potentially make them wipe since they don't seem like they're super amazing at WHM, and said both were dual boxed.. You can avoid it doing disgorge again before migawari is up again by simply turning around and not giving it TP, so it doesn't seem like a big deal, it'll just take them a bit longer to kill it.

THF + WHM + BLM. THF tanks from behind, whm and blm drop party. Spike flail/aga won't hit WHM outside party. When he is casting an aga, make sure to time ichi so it goes off right after the aga because he loves to follow up with spike flail. After each spike flail (make sure you are using ninjitsu to determine grellow proc) get the BLM in the party so he can do grellow spells and make sure he drops before next flail. There is some luck involved with the lame dispel, so if he get sit off and dispels your cruor buffs just have the WHM or BLM hold him by running up and down the hill (should pull it to flux 7 btw) while you get buffs. Also make sure you get the last hit on him before BLM drops pt or else it goes purple.

Since Burst Affinity doubles secondary modifiers for you next 'magical' Blue Magic spell, would Charged Whisker(DEX_50%) with Burst Affinity on and Brew make it DEX_100% with 999 DEX? Wouldn't that hypothetically come close to or beat Wildfire? Furthermore it was found that Mavi Basmak+2 double the Burst Affinity bonus to secondary modifiers which would make Charged Whisker have DEX_200%, right?

Wouldn't it go yellow when I zone to reget Cruor buffs? Also how would I get hate back when I zone? Unless I invite them back or something.
