I don't have evidence so someone would have to back this up for me but I remember the OA2-4 is trash, barely outparses Twilight Dagger and that (Kannagi outside of abyssea) Sekka +2 is the superior offhand.

Is it trash because low damage and the dagger would do better damage? I was going to get it as a tp builder for kannagi to spam more blade:hi. If something has high defense I would just offhand a kamome.

It's trash because it adds more delay and doesn't add more swings with Kannagi.
Kamome is low delay which means lower delay overall which means more swings with Kannagi (with aftermath) and 10% crit damage, 8acc/att on both weapons.

Lightluggage will do this, but it requires setting up profiles with the ID numbers of each item. I don't believe there is an option to automatically pass everything, unfortunately.

If you wanted a clumsy work-around, you could set something up with autoexec to send LL the passall command when exp is gained (won't work for every necessary instance) or repeatedly with the time function (spams the command whether it's needed or not).

Both are fairly inelegant. Hopefully someone else will come along with a better idea.

You don't need to know the item id to auto pass. the following ll rule should work fine:
if item is not 65535 then pass

That is one of the default light luggage profiles. It passes everything except for Beast and Kindred Seals. Can also make a profile with "if item is not 1 then pass" in it and then it will pass everything except for chocobo bedding.

But considering everything would the double attack katana be a good choice or are we stuck with kamome in OH forever? I know with aftermath it becomes better but which is the better choice? More blade: Hi's with double attack katana(along with more kannagi swings and more TP for /dnc) or more damage overall?

Also would the OA2-4 be good for solo tp builder or just stick with the double attack one? Also is there a double attack cap? Seems with brutal/spona/atheling/emp+2setbonus/katana/twilight belt we might be getting up there and that doesnt count atmas.

The Double Attack would fare better than the OA4x, but it suffers from high delay too. Kamome is hard to beat right now, especially in Abyssea. What the DA katana has in its favor is the assumption that magian trials will continue, where Kamome will remain as it is.

As for double attack capping, I've not heard of any evidence that it does. Diminishing returns, yes, but no hard cap.

OA2-4 is uselees, period. No DA cap was found from memory but you won't getting more than 23% without DA katana and 33% with which is well below cap (if one exists). If you are solo you are going to benefit more from offhanding eva sekka and adjusting other slots, if you have a mage and aren't casting shadows then just offhand kamome.
