Assuming you already have Cure Potency, Pet MAB is worth having. Not sure on Pet Attack/Accuracy, might be able to get by with just Soulscourge.

2 boxes Spawned. One gave me an ??? Box, the other gave me nothing (Synth mats i assume). So Did i encounter the rare "Occasionally the second box won't give you gloves" thing wiki lists XD?

Nope that seems odd, you should have gotten 3 boxes if you surprised the captain. Honestly, I feel the first is more profitable. The items inside ??? box are normally always automaton crap while the 3rd bcnm can be some other crap.

When i hit him I'm pretty sure he was facing out the window.

Bubbly was running back and forth on the deck (Cause of Sneaking up on the imps).

I intend to brew boss after proc grellow. That boss is dumb and annoying and I refuse to waste the pop, even if it is easy to farm.

Melo melo is far worse THF + WHM can handle boss np though. Only problem is when he spawns in magic mode, gotta deal with some shit then. Spam the ele wheel with the thf/nin to try and establish some hate on it. Once its in magic mode just have whm dia2/banish spam.

People have posted that the Konschtat lotto NMs can be lottos of themselves, so he can probably pop twice in a row with no PH killed in between.

Further down on the same page there's a list I made with several NMs, including all of Gangly Gean's PHs. Follow the guide and you'll be able to see them in game as tagged with "!"

Yeah I did that, and I'm now 100% convinced he pops from a PH. My question was can repop from himself in like a minute, kinda like how I see him pop from PH death after about a minute. From experience after NM dies I'm waiting at least 10 minutes before a PH or NM pops again.
