Honesly doubt it, Counterstance isnt as reliable outside of abyssea. And a breakga will be the end of it. I duod mnk/rdm at 80 though.

Farming (big) gold chests off saplings in A:Kons for Refresh hairpins; Been out for several hours in the past, 9 hours consecutive yesterday, and coming up on 4 hours today.

I can't imagine my luck is that bad; Anyone got one and care to share how long it took them to farm?

I've heard horror stories of taking hours, but it's of course very dependent on how fast you kill and the mobs you kill. Back before when I only had 2 atmas and meh gear and no smite, I farmed lizards solo on mnk for about 2 hours (maybe less) after my friends farmed me some initial amber and saw 2 hairpins back to back (second one was wasted since I was solo!) Some people report 40 hours of nothing, it's just luck and killspeed.

It's rare/random. I spent just a bit over 95 hours in total collecting hairpins for 4 characters. The best being found within 9hrs or so (since the previous drop), the worst at 45.

You're asking for, theoretically, 16 slightly different sets, 8 of which are massively dependent on what atmas you have. It's kind of a huge question. An 'ideal' base-set with all your JAs down would probably look something like this (also, assuming you don't need any STP on the WS).

Ukon/Whatevergrip/ /Ravager's Orb
Emp+2/Ele/Centaurus(or Rav, vulcan pearl?)/Brutal
Zahak's/Heafoc/Pyrosoul/Rajas
Atheling/Ele/Bellicus/Emp+2

Bellicus legs augmented with WSD+2, Crit rate +3. Drop Rajas for another Pyrosoul if you feel you're dDex capped (probably aren't, there's not too many good DEX slots for WAR).

I farmed hours and hours trying to get 2 dark rings with at least 5/5 MDT/PDT on them in highlands. I was AE cleaving every leech, near flux 6 I think it is. After I finally got my last ring, I had only seen 3 refresh pins out of the whole lot; I'd estimate it was ~30 hours of cleaving all put together. They are pretty damn rare from what I saw anyways, so it's not just you. Keep at it~

I think a thf/dnc could do it with an earth resist set. If you can stop the spell damage from owning you he's not gonna touch a 90 thf like ever with melee.

Might be possible as thf, but if a hit does land its still gonna do 100+ dmg. Stonega will still do 600ish unresisted. And not to mention quake 2 during manafont will still probably hit for 900 unresisted. Not saying its not possible, but would be quite impressive to see.

Mobs do get elemental celerity. You could stun it with violent flourish with some luck, though.

What is a fair price to sell Hachiryu Sune-Ate for?

Decided to sell em since I have had them for a long time and been to lazy to even start my kannagi, and figured something better may be put into the game before I even get close to being done with it.

I put them up on ffxiah for 5mil, and got a response very quickly from someone on another server willing to transfer to buy them, so it seems either the price may be to low or he is very desperate for them; all the while an ls member is telling me to take nothing less then 15mil.

Is the stun effect on it not thunder based?
