Peer Reviewed Journal Articles on Evolution?

I'm looking for an article for my biology seminar/bioethics class. The topic I was assigned is "Where did we come from," so I basically have to address evolution. I was thinking about doing it on something like the vestigial structures, but I can't seem to find something basic enough for my purposes. Like I found some that mention evolution but its mostly assumed and it's not something I can present/write on. I looked on pubmed and google scholar as well as some search engines through my school, but not luck so far.

tl;dr: good source of science/biology peer reviewed articles besides pubmed/google scholar?

Go to your school's library web site. Go to biology/sciences section. Look at list of online journals your school gets. Find sources. Win.

Look up evolution in the dictionary, copy/paste it here, and we'll all review it for you. Then you'll have your peer reviewed article.

    I like this actually.

Yeah I did this, but didn't really find anything like I said. Most articles are on something really specific and I need something more general but not too general... I dunno, some people fucking used RELIGIOUS "peer reviewed articles". I was disappoint.

Both sites cover most of the major research points, with the berkeley site providing a ton of links to resources as well.

    Good luck.

Check if you can get access to web of science through your university, it's a very good database and has a huge amount of journal articles.

Popular science books aren't peer reviewed, they're edited.

Can't you access peer-reviewed journal articles through your University's website? If you don't know how to do that, someone at the library should be able to show you.

Both of these are spot on. You school should have them readily available for you to cite. Both schools Ive attended had them on hand and easily available for use.
