Also, this isn't so much about the missed call, missed calls happen all the time (even when the evidence is all over the ice in the form of a slashed stick) but the fact that the league has an opportunity to review the footage after the fact and STILL misses making the correct call.

Honestly, time to move the Coyotes, Thrashers, and Panthers. Move them to Winnipeg, Quebec and Portland, OR respectively.

If not Portland, Seattle. I long ago thought North Dakota would be a good area, just because of the NCAA following of hockey there, and a built in regional rivalry with Minnesota...but as cool as it sounds on paper, but I just don't see any city there being populated enough to cover the costs and support an NHL team.

Yeah, Portland/Seattle really should get a team. I live in Portland for 4 years and people LOVE hockey up there. Granted, the only pro team there was the Trail Blazers but Winterhawks games were always packed.

Actually it is Ference's duty to not ram his shoulder into his opponent's head, particularly when they're miles away from the action.

Idk about Portland but Seattle does not want a team. They city has refused to put funding necessary to have teams survive there and the residents seem OK with that. Seattle is not an option.

Seattle just seems like it wouldn't work to me. The Thunderbirds moved out of Key Arena because it's really NOT built for hockey. Anything else in the area is too small for a team. Plus, hockey isn't nearly hipster enough to catch on like the Sounders did.
