F) The PBP announcers for Versus are among the worst out there. There was a 10 minute stretch where the head guy seemed to be convinced that Kevin Klein was actually Jonathan Blum.

The apex of the VS announcer's glory was during the only goal. In real-time with no replays, I was 100% sure it had hit Pekka's leg and gone in the upper back of the net. The PBP / color guys were both almost laughing, "I think the Canucks players actually think it went in...clearly this is not in the net." They keep talking the whole time then a replay plays while one guy is speaking, clearly shows the puck is in, awkward silence, "...well I guess it did go in." If it weren't the Canucks I'd go watch on CBC/TSN.

Why the hell would they have Vancouver bloggers write this and not someone that knows us better, say I dunno, Detroit fans. These guys weren't good at all, the Eulogies of the past were witty and often funny, but this just was bad and unfunny.

Lightning are a dangerous playoff team when they're rolling. I'm not sure if they would be considered Cinderella but they're going to be underdogs in every series.

I was pretty impressed by them, myself. I expected the Pens to steamroll them and that didn't happen. Round two will be fun to watch.

Zetterberg and Datsyuk slated to play on the same line tonight, pulling around the anchor of Holmstrom. Hope Pav stays in godmode and Zetterberg is in good form.

Yea, I expected them to beat down Pitt pretty easily without their top players. They haven't been playing well for awhile and the Caps were 4-1-1 against them this year, both loses being shut-outs when Roly was in beast mode. I think the Caps will be able to handle them easily unless Semin, Green, and others disappear like they did last year.

We'll see in a few hours but can't wait, been forever waiting for teams to finish up.
