Yea calls where bad, and the roughing was a bad call but DET took the penalty to and we played out even.

We all know that Franzen is more manly than pretty much every other human in the world, except maybe Shea Weber, but he wasn't high sticked so his injuries sustained in that incident are largely unrelated.

Also looking at the box score, hard to expect a win while giving up 46 shots. And Bertuzzi/Abdelkader/Cleary is the worst line in the world right now.

I agree about the B/A/C line, they need to switch in Modano in next game for either Cleary or Abby

Unbelievable the amount of focus on the refs for a game that was reffed like a standard NHL playoff game. Only noticeably bad call was Pavelski's roughing for snowing Howard while getting pushed from behind and perhaps Bertuzzi's boarding. High sticking double major was weak, but had to be called. Yes they missed a terrible one on Franzen in regular season; doesn't change anything. Red Wings lost the game because they couldn't put it in the net and the momentum shifted.

Really hope the Preds come out fucking pissed off; last game was miserable.

The reffing wasn't bad, just iffy, like alot of game. I wish they didn't have to call stuff but since post strike hockey they either have to call everything how insignificant it is (Abby's high sticking, The snow shower, and Bert's boarding) or let things go and have some one get hurt.

in-terms of playing the red wings need to shake off the rust they had on. After that first goal by Lidstrom it looks like the red wings wanted to coast around and kill time expecting not to put another in the net and keep the sharks out from D.
