anyway for the Shark fans and Red Wings fans i wrote up a little something about this series.

It’s been a hell of a ride, a little over a week ago I would have never thought we would be at this juncture laid out before us. Both teams have had their ups and downs, both winning 3 games. As we all know and witnessed this game can go either way; at the end of today only one team will be left. Could it be the 4th time in history a team makes its way back from a 3 game deficit? Could it be the time when the Heimlich is preformed putting them back on the journey for the Holy Grail? All are answers we will find out tonight. But this is about the thrill of the game, and hockey is all about this, the thrill. Whatever happens in this game, whether bad calls happen, dirty hits are given or injuries rear their ugly head this series didn’t disappoint leaving many of us on the edge of our seats till the last whistle blows. This series has exemplified the exhilaration, stress and unpredictability of Stanley Cup Playoff hockey. It has been year of history for both teams, the Sharks celebrating 20 years in existence, the Red Wings 20 years in the playoffs. Whatever happens, just remember what Mario Lemieux said, “Every day is a great day for hockey.”

I can really empathize with Sharks fans right now. Game 7 vs Chicago was not fun for me. I was sort of resigned to the worst but praying for the best. Today is going to suck and if the game is tight into the third period it is going to be stressful. I can offer some positivity though, if San Jose does win tonight it's going to feel really really good for their fans.

So tonight i'm going to be relying on my Iphone for game results. Win or Lose, it's been an entertaining series, I just don't want to be in on the wrong end of the history books lol. My wife the other week asked me if I wanted a Marleau jersey as she's trying to figure out a one year anniversary present for me. I asked her if she thought I was the invisible man.

Two of my hockey fan friends have to work (losers), one hasn't answered my texts, and the other is out of town this weekend. Looking for an excuse to go out and get stupidly drunk but going alone is kind of lamesauce.

If not, guess I'll be staying in with a six pack.
