Just like the rest of the series though, so many chances for either team to make every game a blowout. Half step too fast or slow so many times over. Detroit just came up THAT short.

Looking ahead, this was prolly the best chance at a cup in the next 2-3 years. But out of this Howard is now a cup caliber goalie in his own right without needing his team to bail him out as often as he has before. Progress to be happy about, indeed, as he looked like he might be good but not great. He's got greatness in him now.
