Datsyuk and Howard were the only goddamn players playing for Detroit in the first 2 games, maybe 3, and they managed to make them all 1 goal games. I don't think enough can be said about Datsyuk, it's a huge shame that he won't be able to move on and get a shot at the Conn Smythe. Talk about fucking stepping it up in the playoffs, the absolute anti Russian. There are no words for Datsyuk.

Thornton played some goddamn great hockey too though. Not as flashy or insane as Datsyuk, but the guy is good. Stoner or not, retard or not, he's a big dude and can pass damn well.

Marleau should probably be taken out behind a shed and shot or something, despite scoring the game winning goal. Made a total of 2 plays all series long by my count.

Niemi played like a beast. Thank god Pavelski cooled off after the first little bit, would have hated for that to happen 2 years in a row.

This series also showed that the Wings desperately need some perimeter scoring, Datsyuk Zetterberg and Lidstrom can only carry you for so far and so long.
