Double posts, double posts everywhere.
Also I'm ok with 4 games for Rome, he was a good 5-6th dman but we'll get by.
Edit: Just realized my sig has taken on new meaning. :/

I was "surprised" with reservations to a nice steakhouse last night, but before I left I DVR'd the whole game so now I'm eating leftovers and enjoying some blindsidin', goalie-roughin' good hackey. Also this gif is the best thing ever:

Since this is playoffs. that works out to be 8 games. Let's hope the NHL continues with this suspensions during the regular season.
I'd like to see how many he's kept them in vs how many he's cost them, because his over aggressive play, from the eyeball test, says he's not that good. He's average at best over the long haul, which is IMO what determines how good you are.
Also I'm frightened that there's BS rumors about Thomas on the Flyers. Would be terrible. ugh
4 games for Rome is more than he should have gotten in light of some other circumstances, but people will view it as alright because he is a bottom pairing player, and he knocked out a good player on the other team for the rest of the playoffs.
Also for the concussions vs other sports, I think the only hit in other sports that is comparable to big hockey hits are open field hits by safeties, and for the most part tackling needs to be done in such a way that you avoid significant head contact.
The biting thing is somewhat blown out of proportion, it's not something that caused an injury, and even though it was a shitheaded move it could have been avoided by giving a proper facewash.
I like Thomas for his antics and anger more than anything else, so really I like to see him get scored on.

Mike Murphy just told Pierre LeBrun that the next player who does the finger taunting in a scrum gets 2 min plus 10-min misconduct

as many of you tweeted, Had Murphy suspended Burrows for Game 2 this wouldn't be going on. Although it's more reaction to what Max L did
Lol.
Did he deserve a suspension, probably. Did he deserve 4 games, maybe.
Did Chara deserve at least a little supplemental discipline after breaking someone's neck, yes.
Whatever though. I'll chalk it up to Murphy/Campbell being dumb as shit, and inconsistent as fuck. Hopefully this sets a good spot for Shanahan to start off.
With Rome out I pray to god AV paid attention to how well Ballard and Tanev played against SJ and pull Alberts out and puts them in. Also I'm wondering if Hamhuis is going to be able to play at all this series because oh lordy was he missed last night.
Also Van PP is terrible right now. I can't even make jokes about Boston PP anymore since we seem to be helping them score on it as well.
Burrows is clutch in the playoffs league would be retarded to suspend him. Has anyone pointed out that biting a leather glove you feel nothing??? Seriously, Bergeron is an absolute pussy for ripping his glove of and holding his finger out Murphy kiss it better make the bad man go away sob sob...

Here ya go Bergeron and all you Boston pussies whining about it days after the fact. Series is 2-1 move on.
I see nothing wrong with quoting the one and only guy at ESPN other than Barry Melrose, who cares about hockey and knows what he is talking about so no I won't stop quoting him if it's relevant. And I think you are wrong, if Burrows got a game it would have died there and Boston would have moved on, especially since it wasn't Boston that started the mocking again, it was a Vancouver player, Lapierre, that started it again in game 2 when he put his finger right in front of the mouth of a Boston player. From there it just spiraled out of control and was happening every get together after whistles between the teams.
Oh boy the "he started it" defense.
No, if Burrows had got a game for it, Boston would have been trying to provoke Vancouver over it. If you disagree, you're fucking retarded and don't understand anything about playoff hockey.
As Lapierre should cuz Bergeron is a retard in the first place for putting his fingers in someones mouth. And by seeing someone else do it to him maybe that burned out light bulb in his skull sparks a little and he can wonder hmmm that's pretty stupid for someone to do that. Oh wait...
The Burrow/Lapiere/Recchi/Lucic is all stupid & blown out proportion. All 4 of them are dumb for doing what they did. No suspension or extra penalities really need to be called. Especially if it's after the whistle when face washing happens all the time.
Kesler was pissed off last game. I expect him to turn on beastmode next game. Also to the bitch at the bank asking me why i have an old canucks jersery. I responded with, because I'm not a bandwagon fan.

Yes. mine is a CCM one.
I really liked the CCM jerseys more than the Reebok ones.
I was always a fan of the German colors styled jersey in your pic, but also of your navy and silver ones that came out when they changed the logo to the whale in the c thing that was used prior to their post lockout jerseys.
I do too.

Remember the bike I used from grade 4 to basically graduation was a CCM. Best bike I've ever had.
Anyone in a fight/scrum who has someone else shoving digits in their mouth?
Bergeron just cried about it because he thought he could get a competitive advantage for his team if Burrows was suspended. See also: Sedin diving.
