Montreal had the Expos, but you fucked that away by having them play in that travesty called Olympic Stadium.

The strike really hurt the expos. They were never a big payroll team...'92 finished 2nd, '93 finished 2nd, '94 they were the best team in the league at the time of the strike (74-40, the Yanks were 70-43, the Braves were 68-46, to give comparisons), and favorite to take it all. But without the extra playoff income, and the missing income from lost games...they lost some key players, and they just didnt have that magic after.
