I do think there was something going on behind the scenes...between Chara's no suspension (OMG TALKING ABOUT THE HABS), the fact Rome gets 4 CUP FUCKING FINAL games and then Boychuk does something that met the same conditions and it "wasnt worth looking at", was the 6th least penalized team (despite being one of the more goonish, as denoted by 73 majors and 7 game misconducts, only behind the Pens and Isles, which were probably all from one game)...maybe I am throwing 20 bucks away, maybe...If Boston makes the playoffs, and I'll be surprised, it'll probably be like the hawks did this year, squeaking in at the last game.

I didnt follow the bruins all season, I dont know know how much other shit I could have missed, so I just have to go with what I've seen and what I'm reading. I actually said, after the Pacioretty (OMG MONTREAL) incident where Chara got absolutely no punishment, that I wouldnt be surprised if Boston wins the cup. I looked elsewhere, and I think I've mentionned this and people were saying "past history theyre dirty players", yet 4 documented Sucker Punch incidents, 3 yield suspensions (4,2,4 games), and Lucic gets off with a fine. I personally believe that something was going on, its strange how daddy's quitting his job finally saying "its a conflict of interest with my son in the league" and yet they win that year.

Well it's not like Montreal, Ottawa, or Toronto is going to, so it's up to the Sabres to try and take the division from Boston, it's theirs to lose and no reason they shouldn't have at least a third seed unless they just tank the whole beginning of the year.

Toronto's going to be dangerous this year, if Reimer can keep his form from last season. Reimer went 20-10-5 in 37 games with 3 shutouts, .921 (11th in the league) SV% and 2.60 GAA (26th...). Up front is another story, but you never know with Burke at the helm.

Montreal, whether you want to believe it or not, was the biggest threat to Boston in the post season, and they were missing more key players than Boston was. Montreal was basically missing its top two D (Georges and Markov) for most of the season, and Pacioretty was exceeding expectations and playing exceptionally well with Gomez+Gionta before Chara killed him. Hopefully Carey Price is going to keep his form from last season as well, and the new GM (last I heard theres going to be a new GM this season, not sure who) makes some good smart signings, and I would honestly put the Habs as one of the top contenders, and thats not just blowing steam.

Ottawa...yeah, I think we can all agree they're fucked lol.

I dont know whats happening with Buffalo, I dont get how they got eliminated by that Flyers team tbh.
