Whether you've seen Drew Doughty play in junior hockey, the Olympics or the NHL you have to understand that when he makes a mistake he comes out for the next shift looking to be the difference maker on the ice.

He got beat by Logan Couture in Game 1 and I would have put big money on him coming out on the ice and being one of the best players in Game 2.

I thought the sharks actually came out in the first and put on some good pressure, but since Quick and the kings D was playing well, they came up empty. Once the two PP goals went in, all the energy got sucked out of both the sharks and all of their fans. They didn't recover.

lol, I really am shocked at how bad they looked. They were great the last couple months and they have looked pretty bad so far against a team missing some key players. I expected them to easily handle LA but w/e. Most of the people I heard say it was mostly Nabokov's fault that SJ has lost so quick in the playoffs the last couple years and that was why they got rid of him.

Probably 10 years ago but I would bet he gets all of his hockey news through ESPN, who as we all know definitely aren't biased and mention all the games on sports center, and not just the Pens/Caps and for sure don't ride the coattails of their 2 stars to inform the rest of the US about what real hockey is all about. And they for SURE have great west coast footage.

Started watching like 20 years ago but does it really matter? All the new fans showed up 3-5 years ago when Crosby and Ovechkin came around and started winning games. Besides 10 years would be enough to know that SJ has had 5 straight 100+pt years, finishing #1 or 2 in the West for 4 and haven't been to the Cup Finals once.

So let's all get pissy cause our team sucked and talk shit to other people who's teams have also sucked in the playoffs. I know I still have nightmares of Nedved's 4th OT goal and Detroit sweeping the Caps in the Cup Finals or the countless times we have been knocked out of the playoffs by the fucking Penguins. Last years' loss barely even registers on the list of disappointment.

Who cares though cause it's time for playoff hockey and everybody has a chance. btw does ESPN even cover hockey anymore? A couple columnists and a 10m panel with 2 people on SC doesn't really count as coverage.
