Caps coaching staff did a great job keeping the players fresh in both Caps OT games. Staal/Girardi(and most of NY) looked dead out there but the Caps still had some legs and our top D-men Carlson/Alzner were looking solid. Games get to that point and it's all about staying fresh and not making mistakes, which NY did in the end.

Caps game was getting painful to watch. Looked like a men's league game once it hit the second overtime, slow sloppy play. But I guess that's what happens when you hit a second OT, especially in the East.

Detroit just tied it up. 2-2 Only a matter of time before Doan and company are seeking a new residence.
