Worst part for Phoenix is they actually played pretty damn well this series, no way this should've been a sweep.

Good bye Phoenix, hellooooo Winnipeg!
Poor Doan.
At least I can say how the 'Yotes fans feels. Kudos to the true fans who did show up for games. I'm serious.
Well thats a way to end it.
Eaves![]()
Well I did not expect a sweep. They played great at times, but Phoenix managed to make all of the games at least somewhat close.
Hope that they Yotes or whatever they become have a better crowd cheering them on next year, they deserve better.
Colin Campbell went batshit insane on TSN radio today. 10 minutes of just shouting, it's fucking hilarious.

Much needed rest for Zet (and Franzen too, maybe). I hope we don't lose our mojo with the extra days off.
GG Phoenix. Trolling aside I actually hope you guys don't lose the team. Seem to have finally built a fully functional organization there and it would suck to not give it at least another 2 years to see where it goes.
How long until they announce the relocation?
Wouldn't be surprised if something was announced tomorrow, but I would bet on it being announced after the Finals end so as to not upstage any of the playoff events.
I disagree with almost everything Campbell said except the Crosby hit. It was an accident when Steckle hit him and the Hedman hit was nothing huge. It was PIt and Crosby's fault he got hurt the second time for playing him too fast.
Yes Campbell, you should suspend Bobby Ryan for 5-8 games for stomping on a dude's foot with a skate. I don't care if he's a nice guy or talented or never done anything bad, he did something pretty fucked up, punish him, don't slap his hand. Same with the Downie hit and Kunitz hit. Downie wasn't toooooo bad but he has a history, sit him. Kunitz's elbow was blatant attempt to injure, punish him hard. People would stop doing fucked up shit like that if they got punished hard for it.
These are grown men, they don't care about hand slaps or spankings, but they care if they have to sit 5+ games, especially in the playoffs because it hurts the team.
Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. He is right about the Steckel hit being an accident and not a real hit, and that the Hedman hit is a fairly typical occurrence in the game.
It's pretty clear right now that reckless or dangerous hits (unless pretty blatant and extreme) are just a roll of the dice as far as suspensions go, and when they do come down they are as small as possible. If you want players to respect a suspension they either need to come more often or be harsher when they do come.
NEITHER OF YOU WATCH HOCKEY!!
