Ramsay be killing bitches for fun, why can't Tyrion? As the books stand, Tyrion starts shedding some of his good guy label after these incidents. But it seems they are intent on weakening his character and keeping him the same because he's such a fan favorite.

Honestly though everyone seems to have forgotten about it once the episodes moved on and it never mentioned it again. Plus, that ending set up the fallout between them for next season.

they can make 2 seasons sure, i guess what i'm saying is no way in hell they do it without showing book readers some shit we ain't seen yet. unless GRRM droppin this shit like its hot early 2015 (LOL), then we gonna get spoiled, which i am fine with.

That's exactly my point. Because they can't skip whole POVs in a season they're going to have to fit both those and the new POVs and run from both books concurrently and my guess is that will fill 10 eps pretty fast. I wouldn't be surprised if they shot all the scenes from both books at the same time and had enough content to cover two seasons. It wouldn't make sense to try to resolve the Dorne and Iron Island storylines in the next season as no one will be invested in those characters yet. But dragging that all across two seasons would work great.

I don't get the griping of not being able to fill two seasons from the next two books. With the amount of new POVs introduced between Dorne and Iron islands there's plenty to go through in the next two years.

Christ, it took them two seasons to get through book 3 and iirc both 4 and 5 were bigger than 3. Plenty of material to get through.

This season was great, let there be no mistake. The Arya and Sandor scenes in particular fucking nailed it. Last night had an awesome show-only line that I thought was perfect - when the Hound says, "Safety? Where the fuck is that?" and goes off about Arya's situation, then says he's looking after her. That whole scene was awesome.

The show nailed Oberyn and everything about that storyline. They did an excellent job with the Wall (although the Stannis moment could've been more epic, but whatever). They made Bran's story more interesting and continuously relevant. The Eyrie stuff was done well. The Purple Wedding was spot on. We got some awesome Tywin scenes, some bad ass Queen of Thorns, some creepy as fuck Ramsay ("If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention" is also an awesome show add-in line), and....uh... well, Daenerys. Not much they could do there.

imo we pretty much just have to hope we get a whole lot of focus on tyrion and varys walking down the street talking shit, tyrion and jorah being sad, more time spent on Sam and Aemon, and that Arya and they are able to carry the seasons

otherwise shit like the kingsmoot, cersei's imprisonment, dorne, hizdhar, and drogon will have to go really fast and we'll be past the books by the end of next season


that said, given which specific reveals we've gotten... I think winds will come out shortly before next season

She said the character was dead, and she kind of is in the undead sort of way.

Unless they plan to completely break free from the books next season she kind of needs to be there. At the very least she seems to be the propelling force of Brienne and Jaime's arc going forward. Jaime is too big of a character for them to start changing plot points with without having the whole story changed.

I think they are just keeping some of the characters that are going to show up next season a secret. It's the same thing with Arianne, there are rumors that her character is going to be cut but that doesn't seem reasonable.

It appears that an unexpected return may be in the works for the Faceless Man known to viewers as Jaqen H’ghar.

According to the German agency of Tom Wlaschiha, the actor is shooting a 2014 episode of the crime solving series Tatort entitled, “Borowski und die armen Kinder von Gaarden, ” and after that, in August, he’ll begin filming on Game of Thrones. The agency notes that Tom is in the main cast. Given that the website updates their News sections regularly with 2014 projects, and that Wlaschiha has appeared in several notable productions since filming GoT in 2011 (with his appearance airing in 2012), it does look like Arya’s mentor is returning to the show next year.
