There's also the whole Aegon is a blackfyre theory
Any theories on how the r + l = j information will be revealed to the reader? Howland Reed is the only one who is still alive from the Tower of Joy so it has to be via him or a Bran greenseer/warg vision from the past right?
Yea I don't see that either. I meant it as two separate scenarios. Either we get confirmation from a Bran vision of the past OR Howland Reed reveals the information in the future.
Also I suppose Wylla can also reveal the information. Seeing how Lyanna died birthing Jon, it's fair to conclude that Wylla was brought in as a decoy (and as Jon's milk mother accoriding to Edric Dayne). Some portion of TWOW will take place in Dorne with Arianne and with the Kingsguard+Obara trying to track down Darkstar for cutting Myrcella. I imagine that we will stumble upon Wylla at some point.
I've never understood this reaction.
There are hundreds of silly, contrived, theories about this series yet somehow the theory about the kid who went missing in the ominous chapters being in the bloody oatmeal is always brought up as an example of a ridiculous theory.
There is nothing far fetched about the theory. Ridiculous theories are those that require half the story to be some conspiratorial plot that somehow managed to account for everything (half the characters are loyal to Doran) or those that are obviously absurd (Daario is Benjen).
Asoiaf characters/events are heavily inspired by norse mythlogy/ragnarok, and I'm pretty sure jojen is based on this guy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kvasir
TLDR: A dude born with superhuman knowledge roamed the world spreading information and answering questions, until some dwarves lured him into their cave, killed him, drained his blood, and used it to make mead that would bestow his wisdom unto whoever drank it.
the jojenpaste theory seems... not implausible, but somewhat extreme, even for asoiaf. idk, i just don't buy it. plus i hate it.
i have two rough ideas for how they'll reveal it. 1: bran sees ned talk about it with ben (i'm sure he knew) through the heart tree at winterfell. 2: Some new type of interaction with the Starks in their tomb. there've been an awful lot of instances where the starks wake up having dreamed of that tomb, i think there might be something there.
so I just now realized Ygritte died pregnant with Jon's kid
what prompted that? i could see that being the case, but i don't remember anything that would give that impression.
jon fever dream when he first gets back has him saying to ygritte "I won't father a bastard" and ygritte responding "You know nothing, Jon Snow"
oh snap
Wait wait wait... You mean two people repeatedly having unprotected sex resulted in pregnancy?! This right here is a theory I simply can not believe.
It's too cold beyond the wall. The second you cum, it freezes...ergo: no Jongritte.
but he all up in dat warm cut, jon's snow will survive
