Fucking bitch takes too damn long to kill without 6+ DD's, or at least 2-3 people with a good WoE WS thanks to that -50% damage taken. Ya'll act like getting an ally to zerg her down is a breeze, quit talking shit already. Hardly anyone I know ever wants to fight her because there's nothing in it for them and it's just going to take ages without enough people.

As opposed to the stupid Fish that I can grind down in like 5 minutes or less on BLM solo .... FML. I haven't even really logged in since like, a day after the servers came up just been too disgusted with the game to even bother.

One single MNK with Ascetic's Fury and 0 af3 and a WHM healing can do Carabosse in 20 minutes. I know because I did like 10 or so of my gems that way back in December. Of course, your point about the WoE/empyrean WS is valid. When I got Verethragna my kill time went from 20 minutes to 10 or less depending on amnesia.

I find it very hard to believe that you can't kill Carabosse in under 30 minutes with 3 or 4 people and yet you can kill Cirien-Croin 5 minutes or less solo on BLM.

you run into the problem of influence possibly going down in Heroes areas. This means that certain ??? won't even be there in the first place

I'm surprised no one commented on this. I'd be a lot more rude in my response, but I dont want someone to hunt down my post similar to this, stating that ???'s will depop after influence is gone.


Influence only affects the difficulty of the mob...once the ??? or the timed NM is up, it's up forever.

Why are people complaining so much about Emp NM farming for the weapons? You're mad you cant get your 4th and 5th 1 complete? I'd understand if you're building your 1st 1, but most of you guys in here have at least 2 already. Maybe if people wouldnt be building their 4th and 5th Empy weapon, the NM's and farming wouldnt be so congested or otherwise annoying.

The small minority of people that are working on there 3rd and upwards are not the reason why abyssea is congested, them stopping will not change anything at all. Might aswell tell them to stop logging on aswell so there is less lag at peak times.

What is the question? They are annoyed because... its annoying. Just because you have one emp weapon doesn't mean you aren't "allowed" to make another. They are the best weapons for most jobs and there isn't much left to do anymore. Stop being dumb.

I wasnt trying to be, honestly, would all of this be easier if all KI's could come from Gold Boxes(which I think would be a positive thing)? Or would the issue shift to being a problem actually popping your Sobek/Itza etc because everybody and their mules has a pop set(camping the ???)?

All moving stuff to gold boxes would do is increase bitching that so and so cleaved 30 mobs and got 3 boxes.

More options couldn't hurt, particularly if the mobs that will now drop +1/+2 in Visions/Scars have a different mix of jobs than their Scars/Heroes counterpart.

imo, the problem lies in the ??? competition. Make 3 copies spawn at once and it speeds things up. People would fell cleave them but it still finishes their pop sets faster so others can go.

Main problem I've been experiencing is the competition/botters on the 15min repop NMs.
