    FFXI problem

    Hi, i`m trying to run ffxiv on a new pc, but cant get it going. I`m using windows 7 64bit, and every time i try to run the game, I get to choose the language, but after that i get a error saying - Installation requires Windows Vista service pack 2. Please carry out a windows update. Needless to say i tried and everything is up to date, i also tried to manually download vista sp2 just in case, but i was told my operating system did not need it, so i couldn't get it. Any help would be appreciated.

    Glad you got it fixed but you were trying to install Vista Service Pack 2 on Windows 7?
