Which MMORPG are you expecting the most?

Tera and Guild Wars 2 are the main ones I'm looking forward to. All the SWOTR beta stuff makes it seem more of a SP game than MMO. I really want to try 14 again but I'm going to wait until it's "fixed".

The Old Republic. It's definitely going to stand out at launch. Mass Effect dialogue system with that severity level of light/dark choices intertwined in the game's story is gonna rock. Aside from that, the level of polish that BioWare is determined to put on it is something that should guarantee it's success. Listening to stories of things that they have changed thanks to game testers just adds to that. Can't wait for this beast.

Better off playing it as a single player rpg if you're actually looking forward to it, as the mmo part is going to be a huge dissapointment.

to each his own. You haven't played it (nor have i) so you can't shit all over it like that. I personally could care less for Korean games (art style and all).

EDIT: And its understanding that people are gonna be seriously jaded towards ToR while its still in 2k players testing and a super tight NDA. Only way people are gonna know how it really is if they do some homework with what little is available to get an idea of where they are going with it, rather than jumping on the first bandwagon that passes by which is based off of debunked rumors. Opinions will change when the NDA lifts and larger testing starts.

Cataclysm has me pretty bored and from looking at all the info on Tera and it not being like Aion I can't wait. Old Republic had my interest at the start, but now it's more meh to me.

I'll probably pick and stay with FFXIV, I'm hoping the battle system adjustments will be able to breathe life back into the game. I will admit though, I feel like I'm being overly optimistic sometimes, but Yoshi-P seems to know what he's doing. He improved XI, i'm sure he can do the same for XIV.

I will pickup TERA for a while, hopefully it won't suck like Aion did.

It looks absolutely fine. Its a stylized art decision that is going to pay off in the end. The game isn't trying to look like FF14 or TERA. If anything its going to once again, illustrate why gameplay > graphics. I don't have a problem if its gonna turn away people who think otherwise.

They're still churning out adjustments, but the Earthquake's + Tsunami definitely set them back a bit, that being said XIV is a lot more enjoyable than it was during testing+launch.

I still have some hope for the battle adjustments though, and this new Job system he keeps mentioning. The concept art alone gave me a big fat boner.

I don't understand how Tera online is not beating The older republic with all of biowares awesome background with their awesome games. (although I will admit dragon age 2 was weaker than dragon age 1 probably due to it being a funding source for old republic imo.)

Anyone want to give some insight as why tera online has more votes? Might be something I'm interested in playing, but I was set on old republic after 14 <_<.

TERA all the way. though I may give XIV another shot w/ the new combat/UI fixes. I'm not sure about GW2. The ability of every class to be able to fill any role can either be a great idea or be complete fail unless very well balanced

Most ppl who have read up / seen gameplay of Old Reublic have not been impressed.. and a lot of BG has played Korean TERA and been very impressed. TERA is gonna be an amazing game. It's not the same old combat your used to in all other mmo's (including GW & SW: KOTOR), its new and innovative and its a lot of fun. Also KOTOR looks like shit and has the ugliest beta UI i have ever seen in my life
