Is Tera gonna be another PvPvE?

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm going to say no. That seemed to be an NCSoft thing. They will have like Server vs. Server raiding or some shit though.

Prolly gonna have to vote for TERA myself, i wish xi would go to F2P then i would gladly play it again. To me there's still no mmo like xi, wow doesn't even come close.

As far as fun, the TERA beta is what convinced me to vote for it.

Star Wars is the one I am waiting for. For now, I have LOTRO to keep me occupied until Old Republic MMO comes out. They have already started letting peopel register guild names. Me and friends made a sith empire group called "Ludicrous Speed" !

3 years playing FFXI, 4 years playing WoW.

When I'm done with WoW I'm pretty sure I'm completely done with MMOs. They are the #1 cause of my current gaming backlog (currently sitting at 8 games) and picking up another as I trudge through my 30s seems a poor choice. Getting old turns you into a casual gamer.

I've been playing the Wakfu beta off & on and I really can't see anyone wanting to pay to play that. I think it is supposed to have a story, I just haven't found one yet. I also still haven't found out how to leave the 2nd map yet..
If there is ever that rumored Mass Effect MMO, that would probably be my next game.

It looks absolutely fine. Its a stylized art decision that is going to pay off in the end. The game isn't trying to look like FF14 or TERA. If anything its going to once again, illustrate why gameplay > graphics. I don't have a problem if its gonna turn away people who think otherwise.

I watched the videos and I completely agree with Gryffes. Horrid visuals and TERA gonna kick the shit out of it's gameplay, honestly after playing TERA all the other MMOs gameplay just seems inadequate.

Guild Wars 2 for me. Seems like the most interesting one so far and it has pretty much everything I want in an MMORPG: Story-focused, dynamic combat and content, focus on small groups, and adequate graphics. Liking the races and armor designs, too.

We'll see if they can keep their promises!

GW2, Rift, TOR, etc. they all look like the same old shit to me, sorry.

TERA actually innovates combat and brings the genre into a new territory which is much needed.

Blizzard's new MMO which is overdue for at least an announcement (maybe this year's Blizzcon), could gain some of interest most likely too, considering their success with WoW and their ability to constantly impress me with their offerings (Diablo 3, SC2, etc.)

GW2 and TERA are the only MMOs worth noting as all the other competitors could give a shit less about breaking from the stale MMO formulas. But, my pick is with GW2 for its ambitious goals and the fact their devs represent everything a game company should be, inside and out.

I'm willing to bet XIV will be abandoned in a year. Its unsustainable and SE has shown zero interest in staying relevant in the MMO genre. Good riddance.
