I enjoyed Tokyo Drift, but possibly only because I saw it in South Korea and it was the last English movie I'd not seen already and I was desperate to enjoy myself.

Dwayne Johnson gave an update on the Fast and Furious franchise while doing press for G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The Rock revealed that that Fast 6 and Fast 7 are actually not going to be filming back-to-back like earlier reported. Here is what Johnson had to say when he talked to MTV:

I don't think we're going to shoot them back-to-back. We were going to try that because it wouldn't make sense to have the same crew and have everybody there in one place, but I think we're dealing with some weather issues, so from what I know we're going to shoot 'Fast 6' first and then worry about 'Fast 7' a little later.

As Fast Five left off, the story was transitioning to European locations. He went on to tease two locations:

We're going to be in the U.K., we're going to be in Germany, from what I know. That's the early talks. And we're going to start shooting in May.

According to the sources at Latino Review, Doctor Who star David Tennant has been talking to director Justin Lin via Skype about possibly joining the cast of Fast and Furious 6.

They offer no information on whom he would play in the film. No official offer has been made, but it would be pretty cool if things worked out. I would love to know who what kind of role he would take on.

If cast, he would join Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriquez, possibly Gina Carano, and Luke Evans in what's being described as "their most dangerous adventure yet."

They really raised the bar with Fast 5. It went from being a mindless racing flick to a mindless racing heist flick. I thoroughly enjoyed Fast 5. As to Tokyo Drift, it was a train wreck. But it's still fun to watch drift races.

I never knew that Tokyo Drift was out of order in the series and the Chinese guy died in it. I can't remember it that well

Here's a quick casting update letting you know that Luke Evans will play the villain in Fast and Furious 6. Earlier this month we learned that he was offered the role, and now it looks like he has taken it, as he's in the final stages of negotiations.

Six years ago, we dared to dream that Fast and Furious could be something significant... special...

And yet, I don't think anyone is prepared for what will happen on memorial day 2013.

P.s. With as much talent as this production has... I am blessed to be a part of it...

Just read the "plot" to 6 and couldnt stop laughing...Apparently bringing Lety back as one of the leaders of the opposing faction...
And yet I bet anything that they're still claiming that this is pre Tokyo drift therefore Han still dies...

Whatever...keep giving me Gal Gadot and I'll keep giving them money.

Edit: Holy shit at that trailer! First they topple a full sized bus and drag a bank vault now they're taking down planes! My sides are hurting from laughing so much..pure comedy gold!

Calling it now...Fast 7 they will somehow take down a North Korean spy shuttle with their cars...while it's still in space...

I don't know about you, but a couple of cars taking down an airplane is downright awesome. And Fast Five's bank vault dragging was awesome as well.
