I read like 100 parts of the holder stories until they just got super fucking repetitive.

I mean they all take the same format. Go somewhere do something go insane w/e but it just got so fucking terrible after a while

Yeah, the original one was great, but then it fizzles. But it and the Gideon's Key inspired the SCP series, so there's that. Add in a showing of "The Lost Room", and you've got a great idea cauldron.
