The other thing is that they haven't made any mention of the tags on the trigger items. Orbs for BCs are ra/ex yes, but these triggers could be tradable/bazaarable, and some people might just do KS99 for BB item, get the orbs and the item at the same time, and sell the trigger, or just do KS99 to sell the trig. The possibility is there.

Rare ex or not it doesn't affect the frequency of how often these items can be obtained. All that does is redistribute where the item goes, and may potentially create a different market. Now if Kseals became trade able then it would make a difference.

Pretty much, I'm quite pissed off that I did well over 15 orbs with friends over this past year helping people with BB items. Would have much rather had the chance of BB items as well as potential Drings and such.

If they increase the drop rate of kindred seals, this won't be so bad.

the frequency (or drop rate) would remain the same... but other than redistribute, it might also attract people to do KS99 when they otherwise would have no reason to do so. Or people who are friends with people who need the drop, and bring an extra orb just because they can. That would increase the number of trigs in the market for sure.
But of course, its hard to say seeing that the demand for this seems relatively low. The economy is pretty bad and the value of gil has fallen greatly due in part to purely quest/nm gear... Maybe it wont be worth the effort for most.

However, I'm still betting on the possibility of potentially awesome upgrades for abju to come in future that might revitalize demand for old gear as a base for upgrading. That would actually be a smart option in reviving old events and areas...

My initial reaction was "Man, people are going to qq about this, but in the end, I'm pretty sure more than 99 ks per day go out per server. In the end I'm certain this will add up to a lot more than 1 king per day between now and the end of the game."

If they adjust KS drop rate to 2 min per person then I could see it being a good choice.

Fucking lawl. For someone who literally camped those shits for 6 years I couldn't give any more of a damn at this point. That content has been obsolete for far too long boys and girls. D-ring? Lost its novelty. The only purpose I can see in this is a preparation for some sort of lv99 trigger dropping from them as someone already mentioned.

Anyone that did the prepatch relic trials should have a ton of KSs. Personally I liked camping kings, I got a lot done between windows. The days when we claimed NH,KB,Aspi,Cerb,Khim DI,SW and Tia were so much fun. Spamming people around the world to cover,hold and claim. There is nothing left in the game that requires multiple flee boots to race to. Players that never got to experience hardcore HNM wouldnt relate but it was much more intense then anything left.
