For anyone who was using KS99s to get a BB, this just doubled their odds of getting one. For anyone who was using HNMs to get a BB, why the fuck don't they have one after 10 years?

If they did this it'd be easier if orbs just cost different amounts of points at Shami and each type of bseal was worth varying point values like above. Then ks99s would be 500 points or something, which would be 100 kseals or 500 bseals etc. It'd be easier than continually splitting everything up if they want us to do old bc/ksnms, especially when certain level ranges only drop specific types now.

So from skimming the thread, you get at least one NQ king pop from KS99 which leads one to believe that multiples can happen, NQ is shit (always was?lol) now since the BB items are gone and HQ will prolly be a 50% drop on BB items.

Oh and it looks like the old shot at the item from KS99 hasn't been removed so you could still luck out and get the item @step1.

Hm, improvement over the old shitfest given the NQs didn't drop BB items often and incentive to use up those KS99 pops that were useless anyway. Sounds like an improvement over the multi-day pop system.

I never found them to drop those worth a fuck to begin with, the point is you dont have to no life camp anymore and do them when you please. KS99(money possibly and BB item) > NQ pop for your lolgears and get HQ pop, > pop it, chance for more lolgears and another for your precious black belt items.

or old method, use your seals, hope for BB item, and camp 3hr camps against bots around the clock for god knows how long for an even worse chance off NQ, and if youre lucky, an HQ claim!

imo the comparison is easy to tell which one is fucking more time efficient and profitable, no need for all this bitching to begin with considering abyssea gear is better.

I think I remember BRP made the suggestion years ago when Bercus did his interview. But it wasn't a trigger KS type thing I think he suggested instancing them instead. Maybe someone else had a similar idea idk. I would have to go find the Bercus thread.

But that was like 4 years ago or something when these NMs mattered. Now they're just an obnoxious hurdle for getting a blackbelt and they go and make them drop less, what? Actually though they probably know something we don't because once old gear synergy upgrades come out, they're betting on mobs of people swamping kings so they can upgrade their Riddil with -30 wind resist and shit.

Not true, all three are consistently camped for BB items on fenrir, and fenrir is a fucking dead server so I can only imagine the more crowded ones are worse.

They should have just made the items for BB drop in Abyssea. The NQ Adamantoises could have dropped eggs, Nauls beards and Hadhayosh Behe tongues, players don't know anything but Abyssea anyway.

The new system makes it easier to get people to pop KS99s (which still drop BB items) now they have a chance at HQ/NQ king pops since there are still alot of people out there who want shit like Ridills/Ebody/Nlegs. I imagine in no time people will be dropping these items to the ground or selling on the cheap since the initial rush will have people burning thousands of KS that have piled up over the years.

NQ Kings never dropped shit anyway and if you can't be bothered to do any of this stuff just cap gear haste with a Twilight Belt, get Victory Smite and shut the fuck up?

Never said anything about challenge. Also never said anything about claim = accomplishment. The reward was the accomplishment. I enjoyed having things few did. I had no problem with Einherjar for example because it still kept the best gear out of the reach of shit tiered players. Now everything is 100% identical and there's no excuses for not having 100% of the best gear out there. Where's the fun in that?
