sorry I should have mentioned, I take for granted sometimes that even though I've posted here forever, people don't pay attention to my personal life (nor should you).

My parents and sister live in CT too, so ya this is about getting to visit them just as much as my friends. I haven't seen them since the wedding either.

Will you be visiting them in CT as well or will you be going to CT when they are at Disney World?

If they're going to be at CT when you're there then the factors i'm seeing are: the cost of going to Disney World with your family + sis family (and their keeeds) greater than the cost of seeing your family in CT and your friends in CT. (And making your hubby happy I guess since he doesn't like hot weather?, unless its hotter in CT than Florida)

If they're not going to be at CT then its: Which do you wanna see more you're sister's family or your friends? Since if you don't go your parents will still be there for the visit

That's just the way i'm analyzing the situation

they will be in ct, we can take any week off so it would be taking the week off when they're in FL and going there, or taking a week off when they're in CT and going there.

I think my hubby wants FL though, he actually lived there for about 4 years (military baby) and hasn't been since, but wants to visit it again. But ya I'm p. sure I'd get to spend more time with parents in FL than CT (because of friends), but seeing friends is seeing friends..../sigh

Also I havent been to Disney in like 6 years or something, but I do remember having more fun visiting and walking around rather than the rides. There's actually a LOT more to do than just going on rides. Disney is about the atmosphere and is really an attraction rather than just another go on the rides place.

Okay first you're a 40 year old fatass going to an imaginary fantasy land because you're so ashamed of yourself in the real world and you know whoever the fuck is in those Pluto and Goofy costumes is paid to be nice to you but what you don't know is they're vomiting inside their suits and their faces are contorted in pain when they see you I know you think they're dancing but they're actually writhing around in torment I can't believe your father is dying and you're so fucking selfish you'd rather go see your friends and don't even pretend like you give a shit about family or friends you're not being very subtle about the fact that this vacation is only about you and you don't give a shit about your husband family or friends so I guess the decision really comes down to how much money is everyone willing to spend on you if you go to Disneyland cause your friends will probably feed you lots of home cooked meals but don't mistake their intentions they're only doing it so you don't eat their pets and last but not least this is the most important point of your post that I just can't ignore
