Yeah, if i'm solo ill just run from edge of death, its range is 30' so just run away once you see it in log. that armor was at 79% when i engaged, so add like 15 min for 100%-0

The real question is: why are you THF/NIN without Suppa?

SAM has been my 'main' job since I broke lv.30, and I've traded my Bushi for Suppa. Not much reason for it in the age of Centaurus/Vulcan's Pearl/Moonshade, other than the highly situational use you've just mentioned.

I only had SAM when I got bushi years ago and I never bothered to go back to get a Suppa because I don't care enough / don't play often enough anymore to bother going to do DM.

Link is right about the 154 skill with merits tho. Now I'm not sure if I'll get Koki with skill gear if that's possible to reach it at 99, which will annoy me for abyssea shit if we're even still doing that... so maybe it just won't matter at that point.

Are there any new rewards for this event? Or just the same wooden GK/Swords?

Oh I think that's what I missed last year, or a katana/wakizashi set or something. Eh, maybe I'll go dick around with it this week before server merge.
