I'm pretty tempted to switch to a smaller map. I finally got a map viewer after I couldn't find the dungeon or jungle. But I just completed my tunnel to hell, too.

Yeah, I do not recommend anyone deal with a Large map unless it's a specifically multi-player world, housing 8 people (or whatever the max is). Small is perfect for single-player. You can always just ransack other worlds if you feel like you've found everything in yours. I moved from a large to a small because it took so god-damn-fucking-long to get to the two important areas of the game (dungeon/jungle). Not to mention how stupid it is trying to find floating islands.

So guys, I think the game hates me. I FINALLY find two chests.. and what's in them? Two of those damn regen bands, afetr I already have two.. Now I have 4 :I.... or had, until I got rid of three.

Why not equip all 4 for the time being?

I wouldn't really bother NPC-selling much when it comes to accessories unless you have more than 5 of something that doesn't stack or you're really hurting for cash to buy a Mining Helmet or bombs for dealing with Shadow Orbs.

I think the only things I've ever actually purchased have been: 1 Flintlock Pistol (for crafting a Space Gun), 1 Piggy Bank, 1 Minishark (for crafting a Star Cannon), 1 Mining Helmet, and a few bags of Purification Powder (for going after Shadow Orbs when I had only shitty tools).

I don't think they stack, at least it didn't look like it when I tested it. I'm considering getting a hat, and forever carrying dynamite with me, haha.

Found my first few shadow orbs, was cool. Killed myself with a cliff and dyna too.

I buy asstons of the normal pots to combine with glowing shrooms from my farm! My friend's "server" is laggy as hell, and I keep having mobs teleport onto my head (bees do 25 dmg ea, ouch!). I burn through a lot of pots.

The guy updates it about every other day it seems. Latest patch was the ability to filter chests shown by what is inside of them. I kind of like not knowing where everything is, but magic mirror is pretty awesome.

I ran into the dungeon and found a muramasa and cobalt shield. That place is crazy, constantly getting attacked by swarms of monsters while trying to navigate a huge dungeon. I don't think I could have made it through without rocket boots.

Edit: I don't know if it works on multiplayer servers that you aren't hosting though. I've never tried it.

Sooo... I've been busy, spoilered for Hueg:

There's a vertical shaft (topped by an obsidian skull, which I posted earlier) that's 4 blocks wide. The left 2 blocks are a straight shot down to the Underworld (which I ran through covering every single open lava pit and placing platforms so it's a lot easier to fight mobs/explore), while the right 2 blocks lead to my mushroom farm first, then to a huge horizontal walkway leading from the dungeon in the west to the jungle in the east. I've mostly explored the jungle fully, putting in platforms/torches all over to make it easier to get around, and I'm in the midst of doing the same to the dungeon.

There's also a Vile mushroom farm hidden underneath the floating islands to protect it from meteorites, although one actually hit my steps as you can see in the picture, and the Floating Islands are now a tree farm so I can leave the surface for building whatever I want. My next projects are meteor head and eater of souls spawn rooms, I was planning on putting them on top of eachother but that seems like it might cause some problems so idk, maybe I'll move one of them underground.

The only other things I wanna do are build an underground room where I can set my spawn point. I had considered doing a jungle rose farm but I get a ton of those running through my horizontal highway in the jungle itself.

My current house is adequate and mostly utilitarian:

but I am kinda wondering if I should knock it down and build something really nice. Something like a 2 story dining room with balconies, storage closets, stairwells etc, but unfortunately I am not feeling particularly inspired at the moment and I REALLY dont want to worry about relocating my shit/moving all my chests and whatnot. On the pic above I put a few proposed rooms at the top of my current house, maybe I'll just do that. I really wish you could just build a 2nd house next door and have a whole new set of NPCs move in, but alas.

And I still don't have a fucking Sunfury Anyone still have an extra for trade? I have some rocket boots and cobalt body/legs still. Mioko, do you still need a Flamelash?

That looks like a lot of work, lol. I don't think I have even found any floating islands in my current, newer, smaller world. I could use a little floating cabin hideout, but I don't know how to create a path up to it that's not a hideous skybridge or typical vertical column of platforms. Also, knocking down and relocating my fort to a new world, and transferring all my loot was a big pain in the ass. Not to mention knocking down all your (walls if you're staying in the same world) takes foreverrr~

I'm still looking for and have been trying to farm up a Flamelash recently, and simultaneously hoping for another Sunfury because I know how many people need/want one still. I think I just recently got everything else I need... other than a few more Bands of Starpower, Feral Claws, and Anklets of the Wind.

Oh yeah, and grass (normal/jungle/mushroom) grows waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster if the strip it's spreading down is two blocks thick. Good to know.

Finally got 5 Feral Claws. I actually found a Jungle Shrine that had no chest in it, just a big clump of gold brick where the chest should have been... lol. Then, a few yards away, there were two Jungle Shrines right next to eachother, literally 1 block apart. Now I need 4 more Anklets of the Wind.

Right now we are playing around with the idea of adding a new NPC that teleports players for a fee.

There are plans for a lot more decorative items.

How about game modes like Capture the Flag or Survival (against one zombie player)?

We plan on expanding PvP by a great deal in the future.

Fought Skeletron, was hilariously fun. My friend always says I'm shooting arrows at him. Got the Demonite(?) set for myself, friend has the set you make with hellstone ore. Raided dungeon, found muramasa, bluemoon, 2 mirrors, 2 clouds (yaaay), water stick, and Hermes shoes. We want to make the necro set sometime, but realized that we turned ALL of our webs into silk.. May have a stack somewhere but we have to look for it.

The jungle is next on our list,but finding it will be a pita!

The encounter rate in this game is stupid sometimes, hahaha.

Once you find the jungle, you'll have no problem with webs.

I was only there for a bit (found a large deposit of obsidian there and just skipped to hellstone) and in the time I was there I ended up with 3-4 stacks of cobwebs. I think they start to show up more as you get deeper into the ground, around where the jungle starts.

When I realized that silk was only used for beds, I stopped turning cobwebs into it and I stopped keeping cobwebs at all. Making the Necro set wasn't a big deal at all. Every time I take a trip anywhere, I end up with a stack of cobwebs from just swinging my shit around.

Has anyone come across any Jungle Grass Seeds? I had originally read that they were not actually in the game and that they could only be obtained via cheating/admin tools. However, the "official" wiki says that they are incredibly rare and obtained from cutting the foliage (roses/luminescent plants/vines/etc). I am having my doubts about that considering that I am constantly jumping around jungles just specifically to cut everything I can because I find it fun... and I haven't come across one.

Also, leading jungle grass up to my zone isn't just for a Jungle Rose farm, the grass itself spawns Hornets and Maneaters. So, it's more like a Jungle Rose/Nature's Gift/Stinger/Vine/Ivy Whip/Cobalt Armor/etc. farm.
