Only way I'm able to deal with large water pools when digging around is creating little air gaps by placing and removing blocks near the floor. Would hate to lose that and be forced to dig upwards for air instead using my grappling hook to hold me still.

It's odd. I may have been a glitch. But it definitely would not let me plug that hole. I'm not sure if the entire world was lagging a bit due to having half an ocean dumped down my hellevator, or what. It has happened at other times though.

It doesn't let me do anything to lava though. I can't put bricks or anything in lava. If you get a hole in your lava pool, you're fucked I guess.

However, now when you add blocks, the water is not replaced. It just sits behind the bricks. If you then clear out the space, the water is full. You can, however, hollow out a space, then dig straight down to open up the air pocket that you just made.

Bah, how can I hunt down glowing mushrooms? I can only get Wall of Flesh down to like 1000 HP before he murders me and it's mostly due to the time wasted being out of mana and/or switching to mana potions. I really need a Mana Flower...

I found 3 but had full inventory so when one fell on top of the other they busted... Only got 1 diamond out of 3. Hopefully it was just a glitch cause that's a dick move.
