So wait, telling me there's no story mode at all in this game?

=/ Meh feel that's a deal breaker for me. I haven't been keeping up with this because I hadn't planned on buying it until recently. I really miss SC1's story mode with the map. Playing with the character models looks like fun but I think I'm gunna wait till this hits bargain bin.

There is. But it forces your character choice between 3 characters and its like 20 fights. Most of the people are not important at all.

Thanks~ :D Unfortunately I could not get the voices to match up anywhere close to where he's supposed to sound. (The Monarch) The voice actor just has a unique voice, I guess. That or the voice options for SCV just ssssssssuck.

Soulcalibur V will be seeing an update this month, Namco Bandai have announced. The free update will include optimization for online ranked game searches, tweaks to the game, and character balance tweaks based on player feedback.

The free title update will be released on March 21st.

Hopefully this will put an end to Natsu spammers. That would actually motivate me to bother with this game again. The offline content is so poor that online is the only thing SC5 has going for it.

I don't know about you guys, but I've been working on getting all of the titles from the quick battle option. Starting with all of the ones that I like best. It took me a few tries to get "black knight" and it took me and my bf almost 100 tries to get "white death." >< That buffed up Etsio (A5 rank) is freaking nuts.

Anyone else having trouble beating any of the characters in the quick battles? (because legendary mode is too fuckin' hard to even bother with-- at least you get points win or lose from quick battles towards new stuff and level.)

Also.. why doesn't it seem like my own rank wont go up? I've beaten a bunch of different guys and I'm still at E5. Is that a online thing only or what?

Also, I would really like to see what characters people have been creating, canon or not. I saw some throughout this thread but I really figured there would be a ton more. God knows someone's made a Cloud and Sephiroth, but I'd still like to see them. >D Any FF chars would be pretty cool to see, actually.

Yeah you can only rank up on online ranked matches. As for the offline difficulty, some of the A rank quick battles can be hard (Aris Voldo FU!), but it wasnt that bad. I mostly used Astaroth, which im most familiar with. Now for the rest of the titles, anyone know exact way how to get the "Soul of Viola" etc titles for different characters? Is it number of wins or number of matches?

Its nice they are patching up the game and adding equips, even the game didnt sell more than 3 copies.
