I think you get to keep the things you buy with PSN+ discount? Either way, I don't care too much about the free month because it doesnt seem that great.

Honestly, I don't mind that people w/o PS+ is getting a free month + 'content' (game, or w/e). But how does that make sense to give people that already have PS+ the same thing as people who isn't paying for anything in the first place? I would imagine a company would want to compensate the people putting money into the service in a more unique way, instead of a sweeping generalization for everyone.
I'm checking 3-4 times a day, PS3 users just had several real good games come out too, this is agonizinggggggggggggggggggggg. I have absolutely nothing to do this week but I become busy once more next week, PLEASE Sony, get this up and running!!
I heard the opposite from an IGN article.
I understand giving everyone like 5-10$ PSN credit is a huge deal and would impact Sony more then just giving everyone a month free of their "own" service (which means it's costing them very little). I am just disappointed to hear that what you buy / demo under PSN+ is only active while you have a sub.
You get to keep what you buy with PSN+ as long as you BUY it, the free games and content they give out you do not get to keep.
Sony said a while back, when they first came out with the service, that anything you purchase you get to keep as soon as your subscription runs out.
EDIT: Any DLC or addons you buy you keep.
Haven't been keeping up with this much, but am I correct when I read only Debit/credit cards #'s were stolen from non-US countries?
Thanks
yeah, all PSN accounts were compromised, but they were saying there was 0 proof CC#s were taken.
for SOE account owners, CC info may have been taken, but only European countries have to worry about that, and they said only info from 2007 was "compromised", meaning for alot of people, that info is no longer relevant at all anymore. Apparently the hackers just got access to one of their old back-up units.
I walked into Gamestop this morning. First thing the kid at the counter asked me was "Please don't tell me you're trading one in too.". I just laughed and walked 360* back out the door.
This page is excellent.
