Got my email at 3:08am est. Was waiting for psn solely to register portal 2 but now that it's actually up I've decided to put it off a few days. I need to make sure I don't have portal 2 as an option when I ask myself how I should study for my final exams.

Awesome, Steam does allow syncing of Portal2 achievements earned offline on PS3 to your Steam account. No having to play the game through fully a second time.


Anyone know if you can redeem codes via your profile settings under the XMB? With the PSN Store down, I'm assuming it won't work either way, leaving games that make use of online passes (MK9 for example) still unplayable online for people who bought it within the last three weeks.



As for PSN store itself, I'm hoping Sony goes with 2 updates a week to catch up on the backlog of games that were missed out. I don't want them to stagger older releases with the new games just so each week doesn't get overcrowded with stuff, resulting in less potential revenue for the devs.

If you never played MK online before PSN went down, MK needs the online code to be able to play online, which requires the PSN store, which means still no MK online for people who got MK after PSN went down. At least thats what my understanding on the situation is.
I don't actually own MK at all and that's what a friend told me.
